Lollipop Lyra! I got to train a little more last month on Lollipop and it is such an interesting apparatus, because it combines elements of pole and lyra. Thank you so much to @rachelraemcadams for teaching this class!

Life has been a whirlwind this last month and I am so late posting but I loved Alluxia! From the cosplays and costumes to the friendly faces, it was fun!

Yes, there were slow times when attendees were off doing their fun activities but I got to make more friends and venture to booths.

This was the easiest packup ever—I only had 3 books left!

@natashaspeaks111 it was SO fun seeing you again! Such a surprise 🥰🥰

I forgot to take photos like always but here’s the few I did.

Can’t wait for next year!! 🥳

Thank you from the bottom of my heart @metrocon_fl for having me as a cosplay guest! ✨🩷 (first bottom photo got cropped grrr)

After getting some rest I can now sit down and reflect on the whirlwind this past weekend has been! (And with some sleep, my brain finally works again)
My first MetroCon has been such a wonderful experience. Everyone I met was not only kind but incredibly thoughtful— from the cosplay guests and staff checking in on each other, to con attendees checking in on us and each other. Seriously, I almost cried multiple times on Sunday. There is such a beautiful community here that I am honored to have witnessed and been a part. Thank you for the warmth everyone has shown me and my mother, and thank you to the staff for going above and beyond! It has been an honor. I hope to go back next year and for years to come.

I didn’t take nearly as many photos or videos as I wanted to, but I was too busy living in the moment to focus on anything else…

I spent the weekend making new friends, reconnecting with friends from before, solving puzzles & riddles, cheering for a moth who defied all odds (iykyk🤭), learning some new dagger defense skills with @fantasyfitnessbybrenna, shopping for some new bookish goodies (ESPECIALLY some new @darlingembers jewelry for both my husband & myself), and making so many incredible memories that I will forever hold close to my heart🤍

I cannot thank @alluxiafantasyevents enough for allowing me to unapologetically be my nerdy self this weekend & step away from reality for a bit✨

And to my husband @twiggy1200, thank you for playing along & frolicking through the realms with me. We heard so many stories throughout the weekend, but ours is still my favorite (I’m only SLIGHTLY biased though😉). I love you so damn much💕

Can’t get over this whole weekend at @alluxiafantasyevents

I had the MOST fun at the Torched Tavern! Never did I know a moth could have so many lives 🙄 yall got lucky with that Bardic Inspiration. Is it weird that it brought me so much joy to be walking around and have people yell at me “moth killer!” 💀 Shout out to the Torched Tavern cast for putting on such an incredible show!

Also, I just want to brag about myself for a sec because I am so happy with how my wizard look turned out! All handmade by me, as well as @spellsnstardust moth wings and corset! And she made our familiars which were such a hit! It feels so good to work hard on a vision and see it come together.

Also, again, a huge HUGE appreciation for @alluxiafantasyevents for making the whole event, every portion, above and beyond. The amount of creativity and immersion was SO FUN. Each event had so much care put into it and made everything feel truly magical. So impressed and happy and I could go on and on. 10/10 best time with the best people (hopefully if there’s a next event I’ll be better at taking remembering to take pictures!)

No one throws a party like @alluxiafantasyevents 🤍

Had the absolute BEST night at Enchanted! The decor was next level, the food was delicious, and everyone had on such amazing outfits! The vibes were immaculate 🙂‍↔️

The whole weekend was magical, more to come on that, but your girl is tired from having the best time with my friends and making new ones 🌙🌸

Also, I’m just so pleased with the looks @spellsnstardust and I created! She handmade our familiars 🥹 and crafting our headpieces together, and I made my whole dress. Idk. Just so happy.

Thanks for the magical memories @alluxiafantasyevents 🤍

The first of many tributes to @alluxiafantasyevents and the incredible weekend I spent in their world ✨️
This community is so, so special. Everyone all weekend was not just there to add some magic to their own lives, but to others' as well, from reaching out to strangers on the dance floor, calling out compliments from across the room, and carrying around pouches of trinkets just because. It was my greatest pleasure to be able to add to that magic. Rest assured that every compliment, cheerful greeting, and smile I shared with any of you was from the bottom of my heart, and I can't wait to meet you all in Alluxia again one day!
Love,
Your Phone/Bubble Fairy 🩵
