Together, salvaged sails, already marked by salt, pressure, rupture and repair, carrying fragments of poems that move between English and Portuguese, meteorological fact and emotional condition. Suspended as a weather system, the sails and migrating swallows hold fragility and resilience together, and a body still reaching across irreversible distance and time… as the poem ends in the present tense: I am still reaching. Natasha Botelho Cook is a Brazilian American artist living and working in London. She has a relationship with distance, trying to claim it as a place of belonging: the in-between, the non-nation. Using materials with their own histories, she treats oceanic forces as methodology, testing erosion, staining, tension and drift. She uses myth and inherited stories from the places she has lived as sources of form and meaning, approaching what she does not fully understand: the ocean, the horizon, love and distance. 🗓 Open: 11th September – 3rd October Monday – Saturday 11 – 6pm Curated by Rusha Cheng & Zhuoran Fu @sensaflare Contact: info@sensaflare.com Presented by Hypha Studios @hyphastudios #HyphaStudios #LondonArt #ContemporaryArt #ArtExhibition #londonexhibition Drawing on Solvej Balle’s On the Calculation of Volume, the exhibition imagines the gallery as a single day repeated without ever becoming identical. SENSAFLARE CURATES - ’Yesterday Was November 18, Tomorrow Will Be Too‘ Curated by Rusha Cheng & Zhuoran Fu (@sensaflare) Presented by Hypha Studios (@hyphastudios) 🎟️ PV: Thursday, 10th September, 6 – 9 PM 🔗 RSVP via Sensaflare’s bio 📍 Hypha HQ, Unit 3, Euston Tower, 286 Euston Road, NW1 3AS Featuring artists from Chelsea MA Fine Art (@chelseamafa), this exhibition brings together a selection of emerging practices exploring diverse perspectives, materials, and approaches to contemporary art. 👤Participating artists: Jidapa Suvanvihok (@jajidannn) Lara Chahine (@_larachahine) Hantao Zhuang (@titozzzht_) Natasha Botelho Cook (@natashaxcook) 💭 How fully do we inhabit the present? Too often, it appears only as a passage between what has been and what is yet to come, shaped by memory, anticipation and the expectation of progress. Beneath everyday sameness, slow changes continue to gather in bodies, materials and memories. Drawing on the temporal structure of Solvej Balle’s On the Calculation of Volume, the exhibition takes November 18 as a model for a present no longer organised by linear progression. In the novel, the protagonist Tara Selter becomes detached from linear time and remains within the same date, which repeats without ever becoming identical. By holding a single day open through recurrence, the exhibition asks what becomes visible when forward movement is suspended. Within this temporal framework, the nineteen artists enter the present through different material languages and experiences of memory, perception, the body and place. Across diverse media, repetition takes the form of mechanical movement and ritual gesture, layering and erosion, recurring images and motifs, and sustained acts of looking, listening and remembering, bringing subtle differences into view. Discover the participating artists and visit the exhibition at Hypha HQ. Kindly supported by @hyphastudios & @britishlandplc

Folús 17th - 19th September 2026 Curated by Lilymay Healy and Tara Dowling Satellite Projects & Studios, Father Griffin Road, Galway, H91 Y628 Join us on Wednesday 16th September 6pm - 8pm for the opening night Opening Hours: Thursday 17th September 10am - 6pm Culture Night Friday 18th September from 6pm Saturday 19th September 10am - 6pm ~Culture Night~ 7pm - 8pm Register for free at the link in bio for a special evening of film screenings and readings from the artists and writers The rain dissolves deep fissures into limestone, islands continually recede into mist but in the wake of disappearance, something hums from the void. Traces signal existence - a shadow of something - but that which casts it is not there. Folús brings together 12 artists and writers, both London-based and Ireland-based, from 17th September to the 19th September 2026 at Satellite Projects & Studios in Galway. Spanning sculpture, painting, moving image, textile, found objects and writing, we wish to consider the lines of presence within absence and absence within presence. In these gaps, invisible pasts remain perceptible through their traces and a potential for fabulation emerges. We consider the possibility that these voids are latent spaces, generative of fictions and mythologies which manifest alternative futures.
