A Sunday filled with God, good people, good conversations, good food, lots of laughs, and moments I’m genuinely grateful for. ❤️✝️

Sometimes life is simply about being present, appreciating the people around you, and thanking God for the little moments that make life feel full.

Grateful for days like this. ❤️✝️⛪️

There is so much wealth in vulnerability.
Transparency is something I am still learning. It takes courage to speak honestly about the places where we have struggled, fallen short, or needed God to restore us. But I have learned that hiding our wounds keeps us isolated, while sharing our testimony may become the very thing God uses to help someone else heal.
“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.” — James 5:16 KJV
God is still working. Healing is still happening. Restoration is still taking place. Your story does not have to be perfect to have purpose.

Today, I want to create a space for encouragement and honesty. Drop a testimony, share something God is teaching you, or simply leave a word of encouragement for a stranger who may need it today.

Then tag someone and remind them: You are not alone, God is not finished with you, and restoration is still possible. 🙏🏾💜

Three years ago I hit my PR of 315lbs Deadlifting. Life hit me, along with a bad back injury. I hadnt picked up the bar for three years. The Most High gave me the strength to be able to bounce back and resume from where I left off. Three years later hitting 315lbs like my injury never happened. This may be light to a lot of lifters, but to me its an accomplishment and a blessing because I used to not be able to lift anything. But I must, I will get stronger. Never give up on yourself. You can, and you will.

That's a wrap! Beyond grateful for everyone who joined us for The Finnish Way of Recovery: Exclusive Influencer Morning at Vettä on Wednesday. We had so much fun hosting you, celebrating the authentic Finnish sauna experience, and listening to the wonderful @katjapantzar, whose books have had such a profound impact on Vettä's philosophy and journey.

This was the highlight of our summer!

There are places built to impress people.

And then there are places built to hold people together.

The Sanctuary was built from a place I know intimately — brokenness.

At one point in my life I weighed 430 pounds.

I struggled physically.

Mentally.

Spiritually.

There were moments I didn’t know how things would turn out.

But God had other plans.

The Sanctuary is not a foundation program.

It’s not a business.

It’s not a product.

It’s a gift.

A free space I built from my own passion to bring full circle what this community means to me.

A place for people carrying burdens nobody else can see.

The person struggling with weight.

The person exhausted from trying again and again.

The person fighting battles quietly.

The person rebuilding faith.

The person who feels like they’re too far gone.

You’re not.

Judgment stays at the door.

You belong exactly as you are.

Scars and all.

Inside are tools, programs, encouragement, faith, community, education, prayer, accountability, and real people choosing to keep moving forward together.

Not perfection.

Progress.

Not shame.

Grace.

Not “fix yourself first.”

Come as you are.

The password into The Sanctuary is simple:

NEWCREATION.

Because in Christ we are not defined by who we were.

We are transformed by who He is.

“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Welcome home.
