2026 Roosters NRL Club Champion: James Tedesco!

Teddy has won the RL Aus Roosters MVP award for the 3rd straight season. The Clive Churchill Medalist has now lifted the premiership trophy as Roosters captain for the first time, capping off a stellar season which saw him reclaim his Blues jersey. He has finished comfortably in 1st place on the club leaderboard despite missing 7 games through Origin camp and injury.

2026 NRL Bench Player of the Year: Billy Burns!

The Sharks backrower claims Bench Player of the Year honours, earning just 1 point more than Nat Butcher. He played every game for the Sharks in 2026, coming off the interchange in just over half (14/26) and cemented himself in Cronulla's best 17.

He not only has the honour of best instagram handle in the NRL, he looks like a mashup between Jesse Colquhoun and Jayden Berrell. I could not count the amount of times on one hand I've seen Burns come off the bench and got my hopes up thinking it was Berrell

It’s hard to put this year into words.

I’ve never had my capacity stretched, my patience tested, my mind pushed or my heart asked to carry so much like it has this year.

And I know you could say the same.

This game. This win. It means so much more to us than footy.

No one sees our every day but us. No one sees the weight we’ve carried, the conversations behind closed doors, the exhaustion, the sacrifices, or how much this year has asked of both of us.

And my love, I couldn’t have done this year without you.

Thank you for giving everything to your profession, everything to your team and everything to this game, without ever making me or our babies feel like we came second to it.

Through the biggest year of our lives, we have always known that we are your priority. And that means so much to me.

Watching you win this, after watching everything it took to get here, is something I’ll never forget.

This one means so much more than the game itself.

We are beyond proud of you ❤️
