A quiet retrospective of my fascination with “The Enduring Image” as part of my October residency at Hopsters. Drawing from a twenty-five-year archive of performance-making, this exhibition presents objects, films and photographs that have remained with me long after the moment of their capture. Tracing long fascination with the image as a site where memory, beauty and violence coexist, these works invite viewers to consider their own gaze. Each image becomes an invitation to witness what lies beneath the surface of the familiar. Featuring images by Sharyn Smith, Nat Cartney, and Christopher Wright. Come and see them outside the context of the theatre. #bodyofwork #archives #theatre
