2025-26 Season Recap 🔴🔵

This group finished 3rd in the ECNL Mid-Atlantic, had lots of success at tournaments, battled their way to the ECNL National Playoffs Elite 8 just a few weeks ago, and proved week after week that hard work pays off.

Along the way, our players earned incredible individual opportunities:

⭐ Players selected to ECNL Spotlight Games and one MVP
🦅 Players on DC United Futures squad
⚽ MLS academy ID sessions and trials
✈️ International academy trial opportunities
🦅 4 players moving on to the DC United Academy
⭐ id2 National team selections
🇺🇸 USYNT ID center and Mini-Camp invitations
🌎 International Youth National Team ID invitations

But these accomplishments don’t happen without the teammates who pushed each other every day at training, celebrated every goal, defended every lead, and picked each other up after every setback.
Every player had a role in this season. Every player left this team better than they found it.

To our players, coaches, families, and supporters—thank you for an unforgettable year.

While many of our players are moving on to new clubs and academies or will play on VDA U14 due to the age change, the bond this group built over this season won’t be forgotten.

Here’s to what’s next! ❤️💙

Marc Vignier (14), Philip Baeza (13), Samuel Mengue (13), and Nathan Orr (13) have all signed for DC United Academy.🤯✍️

All four players will join DCUA for the 26/27 season as part of the U15s age group.✅

What a massive achievement for Virginia Development Academy and each player’s family.🙌

Definitely a group to keep an eye on.🎯
