Play Your Favorite One takes record albums passed down from our parents (plus some new ones we bought along the way) and turns them into an invitation to engage.

By highlighting words in Moby’s “Play”, Michael Franti’s “Follow Your Heart”, John Coltrane’s “My Favorite Things” and David Bowie’s “One”, we encourage the viewer to choose an album from the wall and give it a spin.

“Borrowed Interest”
208 Instax photos on painted panel
73.5 x 49.5 in

Kind of a love letter to St. Pete. And a great way to discover different corners of the city biking around mural hunting.

We wanted something to help break up the large space and empty white wall of the kitchen/dining/living room.

The banquet we chose helps define the kitchen and dining area. But felt like we needed something else to soften the space and add warmth.

I built a simple oak slat trellis that the Monstera will grow up over time, making it an evolving art piece in a way. The hanging grow light keeps the plants happy and adds a bit of visual impact. Special thanks to @moosala for the table saw loan! #plantwall #stpeteartist

A set of custom floating nightstands.
With only 8 inches between the bed and door frame, the nightstands had to fit the small space and actually provide storage.

Luckily, an oak tree had come down on our property so the materials were free! Swipe for a couple of “before” pics. #floatingnightstand #woodworker #northforkartist

First post but not our first piece. Here’s something we created for an investment property we used to own in the North Fork of New York. It reminded people of everything they could escape by vacationing at the @escapeatstarsrd

Escape the routine. The rut. The hustle and the bustle. Have to. Should do. Must do. Whatever doesn’t make you feel alive. Monotony . Humdrum. Bad vibes. The paparazzi. The expected. Unchanged scenery. From the law. The same four walls. Downers. Bummers Pigeons. The hub bub…bub

Still summer in my book!

Funny how you kinda forget about fireflies when you’ve lived in cities for so long. Not forget that they exist, but how they’re so beautiful. Also maybe that they exist. Def one of the best things about growing up on the east coast. (Tho it’s prob better to forget about catching and trapping them in jars until they suffocate…) But when you see them again in this orgy of light, it brings up memories that when I was six or seven, these creatures were just as magical as unicorns and dragons. I mean their butts are light bulbs! So…goodnight summer, goodnight sun, goodnight New York, goodnight rats. Just kidding, rats will rule NY FOREVER. ✨🌚
