One year ago I had no college, no money, no contract, and no plan B.

I took a gap year to chase pro soccer at Inter Miami. It was the biggest risk of my life and it did not go the way I planned. It went better.

The discipline from that year allowed me to grow so much more than I ever did in a single year. I got incredibly serious about entrepreneurship, landed at one of the top universities in the world completely for free, made my debut, and kept building. My app studio now runs 5 apps and just posted its biggest month yet, then broke that record the month after. I never expected this much this early, and we are just getting started.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to my new teammates. A lot of programs talk about being a family. My old teams said it too. But within a month here, I realized UVA actually means it. Coming from a pro environment where everyone is out for themselves, all competing for the same contract, being around guys who genuinely care about you and want you at your best is the most refreshing change I could have asked for. These have been some of the most incredible teammates I have ever had, and I honestly couldn’t have done a lot of this without them. Incredibly grateful to be part of this special group.

Nobody is coming to hand you the plan. You make the bet and figure it out on the way down. You can truly do anything you want in this life. It just takes perseverance.

Bet on yourself. Every time.
