Variations Vol.3
A @greenkeyrecords label project 💚🗝️

This 17-track collab album features 20+ artist interpretations - "VARIATIONS" - on a single composition: @f_l_y_i_n_g_zulu & @mllemerle 's "it's a mess outside"

Each collaborating artist takes the original track's stems and chooses a few to build a new song around - this becomes their "variation" on the theme

The entire album is a monstrously diverse and unique listening experience, not driven by playlist ambitions, genre conformity, or artist censorship. Rather, the artists who contribute to the "Variations" series seek community, freedom of expression, and originality of sound & style

@greenkeyrecords 💚🗝️ is a small, artist-focused record label based in Minneapolis, USA, with branches in Norrköping, Sweden, and Toulouse, France

Distribution support by @downtownmusicpublishing

Introducing the Green Key Records suite of PLAYLISTS 💚🗝️

Vocal Lounge
Everything Lofi (GKR & Friends)
Float To Space Then Dance

If you don't know much about GKR, we're a small, artist-focused label run by @lowkeytrampoline , @torgnyelgstrand and @nateclover_ - 3 artists who love music production and aim to help other artists organize, release, and promote projects of scope. We are drawn to pan-genre, multi-artist albums that the typical indie artist can't run with their single artist distribution accounts, and specifically, appreciate working with larger projects that LEAN INTO collaboration and human involvement.

4+ years on, we're proud to be bringing a suite of 3 playlists, featuring some more focused sounds among our catalog - Vocal Lounge, Everything Lofi (GKR & Friends), and Float To Space Then Dance (Spotify links below) - these playlists (available on Spotify & Soundplate atm) showcase the artists who've trusted us with their music and are pushing genre boundaries, collaborating with one another, and have something unique to add to the musical discussion unfolding in real time. Artists like @grandch.xyz @its_nicolegi @1depth_ @godzhiller @deephi_music @stonehardt.recordings @vaportrayal @laurianhouse @offghst @sleepingsharklofi @juniverpeyrallel @reekolaw @kelleymusik @jeff_shadows_ @petrovthehero @zach.wav @jacobcranee @nate2timez @solomonalber @boxwoodcurrents @patrickmoonbird @some.tones @puji.bear @odem.medo @barkpointband @softwaveslofi @tyler.lok @wmwy.music @thegrapestuff @jonwilson___ @aiden0_0_0_ @ironpillowlofi @jaymockingmusic @dcthebeatmaker @crimkprod @theojuarezmusic @clariloops @eyesohbeats @foepound.production @tonightthestarswillspeak @thehappycasualties
