Holy crap… we did it.

I don’t even know where to begin.

Going into Mammoth ’26, I had little to no riding. With some good (and much appreciated) peer pressure, I decided to line up in a stacked 30 Pro class with zero expectations. Well… everyone who knows me knows I wanted that top 10.

The weekend started rough. I struggled with starts and bike setup through the first 3–4 motos, and honestly, I was ready to pack it up.

My amazing wife kindly told me to sack up and finish what we started. She also reminded me that quitting isn’t how we’re going to raise our son.

Moto 4 finally came around, I ripped a start, and finished 9th. I ended the weekend 12th overall, but I was pumped to finally crack the top 10.

We wanted to keep the train rolling, so we decided to drive home, handle a few things, and head back up the mountain to chase a bear in the 25+ class.

Practice was terrible. It felt like I’d never ridden the track before, and I was completely in my own head. Thankfully, I had some great people on speed dial who helped me mentally and got me pointed in the right direction with my bike setup.

Race day:
Moto 1 — another good start and a 6th-place finish.
Moto 2 — not so good. I was second to last up the hill with 30+ riders. Somehow I worked my way to around 15th by the bottom of the hill. I put my head down, sprinted the first half of the moto, made it up to 8th, and held it there to the finish.

That gave me 5th overall… and my first Mammoth bear. 🐻

This year’s hunt was complete, and we all did it.

To every single person who believed in me and backed me, thank you. I can’t say it enough.

But above all, I thank the Man above for filling my lungs with air and giving me the strength and the opportunity to race my dirt bike and glorify Him through it all. 🙏🏻 God is good.

We’re still hungry for more…
Until next year, Mammoth. 🦣🫡

Mammoth ‘26. What a mission, but we got some bears and I can promise you I left my heart out on that track. Cousin got his first bear. Indy turned 3. Made and ran into so many friends. But most important to me, I got baptized with my best friends @celina_bennett__ and @cody_221 🙏 if it wasn’t for the lord, NONE of this could have been possible
