New Life: The Movie premiered on May 9, 2026 in Stockton, California, and it was truly a night I will never forget.

As overwhelming as the night was in the best possible way, what I felt most was gratitude. Gratitude for how far this journey has come. Gratitude for every lesson, every challenge, every prayer, every late night, every moment of growth, and every person who helped bring this story to life.

This journey began for me in 2022 when I first auditioned for the original pilot episode. Back then, none of us could have fully imagined where God would take this story. To go from a pilot episode to premiering a sold out feature film is something I still don’t quite have the words for.

Sitting in that room and watching this film finally come to life on the big screen was surreal. The audience reactions, the laughter, the silence, the emotion, the conversations afterward, and seeing people moved to tears reminded me that storytelling has the power to truly reach people.

One of the greatest honors of my career has been playing Peter Lewis Johnson. He is flawed, emotional, imperfect, searching, and deeply human. Portraying him challenged me in ways I cannot fully explain, and I will always be grateful for the opportunity to bring him to life. 🥹

But more than anything, I want this post to give glory to God because at its core, this project has always been bigger than entertainment. This is ministry. Throughout this entire process, my prayer has consistently been, “God, let people see You before they see me or anyone else.” And after Saturday night, I truly believe He moved in that room. 🙌🏾

To every single person who supported this project, showed up, prayed for us, encouraged us, shared a post, bought a ticket, or simply believed in what we were creating… thank you from the bottom of my heart. This was a long time coming, and if there’s one thing this journey has reminded me of, it’s that nothing is impossible with God. 🤎

My very first role in a tv pilot! I wanted to dedicate a post as a reminder to myself that all of my sacrifices have led me to happiness, confidence, friendships, and so much more. Trying to juggle school, work, etc., it was all worth it to enjoy what I love — acting!

Thank you to @ao_johnson and @aoj_productionz productions for this opportunity and THANK YOU to everyone on set for the incredible memories! #DirectingActors
