spent my 20th birthday exactly where i wanted to be. 🖤

edges flew by, but it had such an impact on me! i am so grateful to have been welcomed with such open arms into a community that has often been intimidating for me. this little song cycle has one of the most beautiful scores i've ever heard, and each song was special to me in its own way!
taking on the work of swinging 3 roles was extremely challenging, and i almost thought i wouldn't be able to live up to the task. however, with the support of my amazing cast and crew, i grew to love the process! these songs will play in my heart and my head for years to come, and i will always be so grateful for the time i got to spend with this cast!
thank you so much to @juliacortezphoto for these awesome pictures!!
as always, thank you so much to my family, friends, and my dear ewan (who saw every show!) for always supporting me in all my art, no matter how unorthodox.
finally, thank you so much to everyone who made edges possible. i love you all so dearly and i'll miss my crazy nights rehearsing this beauty of a show!
see you next time, UP!

there’s a moment you know…

Spring awakening has been a life-changing show for me since I first found out about it (peep the pic of me and ryan when I was 13) and getting to put it on with this amazing group of people and my best friends has been so amazing, especially in my last semester of college. I’ve truly loved every minute of it, and I’m so happy that this story was able to be told, especially in the state our world is in. I love you all! Purple summer forever 💜

good morning, spring!

what a pleasure it has been to end my iu theatre career with such a passionate and talented group of people - and what a full circle moment to have in the stu. freshman annie would never have believed the growth she would experience in this room, or the bonds that would be made. onto the song of what’s to follow 🪻
