September I tried to work on the fruit of the spirit of self control. I deleted tiktok and halfway through set a limit on Instagram for just 10 minutes. It’s truly crazy what God does when you remove distractions. When you sit in his silence. These are just a few moments he blessed me with that I hope to never take for granted. I’m wishing all of these people the best and I’m so thankful for what my life looks like rn. Self control is about discipline but more than that it’s about surrender. Surrendering whatever holds your attention because whatever holds your attention the most is what you worship and I want to be able to say that I worship the Lord (I did use AI to remove people from the first photo so it’s just me🙈)

As August comes to a close I’ve entered a new season of life. The fruit of the spirit I’ve tried to work on in August is gentleness. What is gentleness? Well ChatGPT gave a pretty good definition saying gentleness is having the strength to be harsh, but choosing kindness anyways. I’ve tried to plant seeds of kindness even when things are hard and I have the ability to be harsh on people I need to have a gentle spirit. I’m so excited for this new sweet season of life full of so many new faces. God has me exactly where he wants me and I’m confident in that.

What a summer in Peru!! 🇵🇪😊
All I can say is how grateful I am that the Lord let me be a small part of His work in Peru!

The Lord taught me a lot about Himself through wrestling with His word and He let me see others through His eyes!
I have a million stories: ways the Lord moved, funny stories, sad stories, etc., so if you wanna know more ask me about it and I’ll be happy to tell you all about it and what the Lord has done!

Gracias a Dios por otro verano en Perú!

I had another summer in Perú, and I can’t believe it’s already over!!
Not only did I learn so much, but I also witnessed lives being changed by God’s grace! While working alongside missionaries, I was able to do what I love with lost people and encourage friends I made last year.
In Matthew 28:19–20, it is recorded that Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
I encourage you to make disciples who make disciples wherever your feet are planted! How are they to believe in Him whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? He is with His children always! Have courage and fulfill His command!
Thank you to those who prayed for Lima and my team! Thank you to those who helped me return to this beautiful country to share the message that saves lives!

As I look back on the past month and a half, my heart is overwhelmed with joy and thankfulness for how good God has been to me. Spending a month on the mission field, getting a glimpse of what life is like for a missionary, and serving alongside amazing people, has taught me so much and has me even more exited to do this for the rest of my life. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for me and supported me on this journey! “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!””
