Meet Recap 🏋🏽‍♀️

I placed second 🥈 in a stacked 67.5kg/148lbs weight class at the Texas Power Bar Queens of the Beach Powerlifting meet! I had a great time competing and I’m so proud of everyone!

A huge thank you to my coach @sir_gymratfitness I would not be even be competing if not for his leadership and guidance both on and off the platform. Thank you so much to my family that came out to see me compete and the family and friends that were cheering me on at home, a special thank you to my biggest supporter @strongest_nerd for always pushing me to be the best version of myself and motivating me to continue to do better.
A big round of applause for all the ladies that competed but most importantly the ladies of @maveriqbarbell that dominated this weekend! So glad to be apart of such an amazing and strong willed team!

Squat :
☑️ 242lbs (missed 3rd attempt of 251)
Bench :
☑️ 135lbs (I think)
Deadlift:
☑️ 330lbs

Total: 707lbs (or something like that, idk fr ask my coach 😭)
I PR’d with all my lifts as well as my total! It was a great day for everyone and I think I even heard it’s some new names on the maveriq board 🤭.

Seeing this trend from other dancers really pulled a cord.
Challenge by my teammate/brother @bamthedancer, I did one myself. Honestly have too much footage to put in one reel, might post more memories on my story or do a “part”series.
10+ years into dance, It’s literally brought me all my loved ones. It’s given me purpose and bliss, takes more than it’s fair toll a lot of the time. In those active moments, I never regret this path.

Inspired by all the artist that went to @thesisdance this past weekend so here’s a throwback from a thesis a few years back.
