PINK PREVIEWS!!! With over 90 artists in our Valentine’s Day show there is SO much to see, so I’m going to do some preview posts before the open night!! PINK opens Friday 14th 6-9 pm and we can’t wait to see you there! Twink No.2 by @nath.wright.art Ink on paper 42 x 59.4cm $600 Nathan Wright’s artworks encourage interaction with his pieces. As the audience approaches, figurative scenes transform and become abstracted into new images, text, symbols and patterns. A continuous theme or motif that runs through Wright’s style is repeated imagery. Fingerprints, stamps and oil pastels used in an impressionistic manar. 💕💕💕💕 For My Sisters by @made_byr Basket weaving 45 x 40cm $525  This piece is made in honour of all my sisters. This past year I have known too many sisters experiencing domestic violence. Sisters who have had to flee, erase themselves, make themselves small or endure unspeakable violence. This colony needs to reckon with the violence being enacted onto women, in particular black women. My sisters deserve to live free and safe on their land. My sisters deserve to be seen for the amazing universe they hold within.  💕💕💕💕 Nature in Choral Canticle @caterina.leone.art silverpoint (.99 silver and 23k gold) with watercolour and acrylic paint marker on wood panel, 254 x 204mm. $750 This artwork, titled after a line from Clarice Lispector’s ‘Agua Viva’, was created in silverpoint - a largely forgotten, pre-graphite way of drawing with precious metals such as silver and gold. I’ve added a delicate, gentle colour to the rose with watercolour, which contrasts almost jarringly with the neon pink acrylic flame. 💕💕💕💕 FLOWER POWER: A KARLEE MISI (@karleemisi) , FRENCHIE HOLIDAY  (@frenchiehiday) AND TMC (@pollybuis.exe) COLLABORATION 33 x 25.4 cm $250 Photography & Digital Illustration Collaboration piece created with performer Karlee Misi using both photography and illustration.

2023 was a year of actively creating art, believing in myself and the collective energies, celebrating freedom, friendship, courage, and love, appreciating women, life, art, dancing, learning, making mistakes, and most importantly healing 💗🦋✨🦋 Creating art, and using it as a vessel to channel my emotions through hard times has been a great journey. It was hectic, so many things happened and my life changed heaps, I’m grateful and excited for the future✨✨✨
