THE LAST MAN STANDING I wanted The Last Man Standing to capture something we all experience. We often walk into an event or party feeling nervous. But once we stop worrying and enjoy the people around us, time slips away. And before we know it, we’re the last ones standing. — A year ago, I came across this vintage suit at @waretowearresale. Every time I stopped in, I’d find myself looking at it. I knew I wanted to build an entire concept around it - I just hadn’t found the right person to wear it. Then @iammike_harris and I worked together for the first time on TO BE LOVED. After that shoot, I kept coming back to the suit and one day it finally clicked. Mike was the perfect fit for The Last Man Standing. I reached out to Nick from Ware to Wear with the idea of using the suit and transforming the shop into the set for a night. Without any hesitation, he was all in. Beyond creating a cinematic video, I wanted this shoot to be an opportunity for creatives and locals to experience what it’s like to be on a directed set, collaborate with people they may have never met before, and simply create something beautiful together. Seeing everyone bring their own talents, ideas and energy to this project made the experience even more rewarding. A huge thank you to everyone who came out and trusted the vision. Whether you were in front of the camera, behind it, or simply there for the experience, every single person played a huge part in bringing The Last Man Standing to life. I couldn’t have asked for a better team for this project and I’m super excited to finally share this project with you all. 💚 — Credits Starring: @iammike_harris Creative Direction, Videography & Post-Production: @nat.oreus (@nathaleearroyo) Photography: @jackfromnova_1 Vintage Suit Courtesy & Set Location: @waretowearresale — A special piece of this project was Mike’s wardrobe. “The suit originally belonged to Eddy Wally, the Belgian singer who later became an internet icon for his signature “Wow!” and wink. It was later sold through Julien’s Auctions, where it reached a winning bid of $384. The design is classic Hollywood, inspired by the iconic stage wear of Elvis Presley.” - Nick

What a beautiful opening for TO BE LOVED by Nathalee Arroyo and Jack Connally’s collaboration. Join us on Saturdays from 10am-2pm to view. Or by appointment! After months of emotional exploration, lived experience, and intentional planning, artist Nathalee Arroyo presents TO BE LOVED, a visual exhibition exploring the fragile, complex nature of love and the ways it shapes identity. Through visual storytelling, the work traces the evolution of intimacy—from the spark of connection to the comfort of closeness, the fracture of loss, and ultimately rebirth and self-discovery. Each piece reflects personal experiences with love while inviting viewers to see their own stories within the work. Opening night included an Artist Talk and Q&A, where Nathalee discussed the concept, symbolism, and creative process behind the project alongside photographer Jack Connolly, whose creative collaboration helped bring the visual narrative to life. The exhibition features photography by Jack Connolly, production assistance by Maya Green, and a cast of local models who helped bring the story to life.

The speech I had planned to give at dinner 💌 Last year, the theme for my birthday shoot was ‘A Seat at the Table.’ I was deeply inspired by Solange’s album — a project rooted in identity, empowerment, independence, grief, and healing. It’s about confronting personal and collective experiences while still celebrating Black joy, resilience, and heritage. That concept spoke to where I was then. But this year, I realized something new — I didn’t need to search for a seat or prove I belonged. The table had already been prepared for me; I just had to take my seat. That realization came after my solo trip last year. Traveling alone opened my eyes in so many ways — it taught me the value of stillness, self-trust, and how meaningful solitude can be. But it also reminded me how special it is to share moments of joy and reflection with others. So spending this birthday together feels even more impactful, more full. (Even the ones not photographed, you showed up and that means so much!) To be supported and uplifted by my family and friends, is all I could ever ask for. Your presences alone have moved & carried me throughout this year. Thank for your love! thank you for your light! thank you for sharing space with me! I hope the love I receive is always poured right back into you all x10. And lastly thank you for making me feel so special and so seen. With so much love & gratitude Tu 💕🥹
