I have been playing summer baseball for pretty much my whole life, and it’s given me more than I could’ve ever imagined. There have been lots of ups and downs, but I’m so grateful for every coach, teammate, and friendship this game has brought into my life. The memories I’ve made over the years are ones I’ll carry with me forever. More than anything, I’m thankful for my family. The amount of time, money, and miles they’ve poured into helping me chase this game is something I’ll never be able to repay. None of this would’ve been possible without them, and I’ll always be grateful for every sacrifice they made. After stepping away from summer ball for three years, coming back this season reminded me why I fell in love with the game in the first place. It reminded me to stop overthinking everything, be present, and just enjoy playing baseball. At the end of the day, it’s still the same game that little kid fell in love with, and getting to play it with friends is something I’ll never take for granted.

Summer ball, To think that such a huge part in my life has officially came to a close is wild. Telling myself that it would always last forever and you can just come back and play next summer to now not having any tournaments left is a weird feeling. I want to thank my parents for spending countless hours driving me places I never could have imagined. The money that they spent on me so that I could chase this dream of playing baseball forever. But most importantly for showing up when I really needed them most, every game, every pitch, every at bat, and if they couldn’t make it you knew they were watching it somehow. I love you both. Now to the coaches that guided me along the way and helping me get better to continue my journey as a player. And the brothers that I have made along the way. The impact that you all have had on my life and the love that I have for you all. Thank you so much for always keeping me moving forward and picking me up when I need it the most. Love you all. Summer ball thanks you for the highs and the lows you will always have an impact on my life.
