Opposites attract. The recent shite weather is attracting our awesome HS Parka which we recently released in a new khaki colour way. British made in water repellent British made fabric and perfect for when the weather isn’t.

WHY WOOL IN WINTER?

Here’s the science bit. Wool fibres are short, therefore when spun into yarns and made into fabrics, they trap loads of tiny air pockets within the cloth. These pockets of air are then warmed up by your body heat, and because wool is a bad conductor of heat, they stay warm and act as an insulating layer. It’s the same as your body warming up the layer of water that gets trapped inside a wetsuit. Wools such as merino have extra crimps or wiggles in the fibres which create even more air pockets so are even warmer. Now you know and you should go to our website and buy some wool 😜.

It’s merino wool weather!! (Here’s comes the science bit) With the natural crimp in the wool’s fibre, more body heat is trapped in air pockets around the body which will keep you warmer for longer. It’s also super soft and just all together lovely. Oh and it’s ON SALE!

The dry waxed HS Parka. The depth of the colour is amazing, it’s water repellent and it’s a bit different.
