This photo popped up in my memories this morning. And this scripture was in my quiet time reading this morning. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. Today is my first official Sunday on staff at @gocoastallife and we could not
be more excited and expectant! We were not looking for a new church position and after 30 years serving in Central Florida, we were certainly not anticipating a relocation 2 hours away, but God has made it so beautifully clear that this is His plan for @kathryncarri and I. “Helping families find and follow Jesus” is a divine assignment that thrills us and we are honored to join the mission to make a generational impact here in the Treasure Coast!

MOMENTUM 26⭐️

It’s crazy how the Lord moved in my life even after being on the other side of this conference. The opportunity to serve His children was incredibly humbling and a blessing to be a part of. It gave me a new love for serving His kingdom and taught me the importance of surrender when doing so.
And doing it alongside my closest friends made me appreciate their friendship and heart for the Lord all the more.
Between co-leading a middle school group, serving on worship, helping create an environment for the students, and spraying the mascots with water…I feel so fulfilled.
There is truly no greater joy than being in the house of the Lord.
There is truly no greater fulfillment in my life than serving His house.
Can’t wait for next year.

I am in awe of how God continues to move in my life. The best way I could describe this if it was in one sentence is this:

I am deeply humbled.

Over the last 8 months God has opened up so many opportunities, grown my community, and do what only He can do. I never believed that I would be here like someone like ME?? But the Holy Spirit seen the willing heart I had and began to open up doors that I never thought could be opened. I am grateful and never take these things lightly. Whether its preaching, leading, being with the kids/students, small groups, production, worship, setting up, and just trying my best to step in the gap for the people who need Jesus every single one of these is an opportunity to make an impact for the kingdom of God.

God has called me to this life so I will stand firm knowing this is only the beginning of what the Holy Spirit is going to do.

We are excited to announce that John Evans, along with his wife Kathryn and their family, will be joining the Coastal Life staff! The Evans have been friends of Coastal Life for several years, serving our church through speaking at our marriage conference, youth retreats, and Sunday services. We have come to know and love their heart for Jesus, for families, and for the local church.

John will be serving as our Family Pastor, helping us fulfill our mission by equipping couples to build Christ-centered marriages and encouraging parents to intentionally lead their families in following Jesus.

We know that the entire Evans family will be an incredible blessing to our church family, and we can’t wait for you to get to know them. Be sure to join us this Sunday as we officially welcome the Evans family and give you the opportunity to meet them

EAGLE AWARD- Congratulations @nathaniel.3vans on earning the Eagle Award for Master’s Academy Boys Track this spring. The award recognizes the athlete who combines character, leadership, servant-hood, and competitive excellence. That really represents who Natty is. He cares. He works. He leads. He serves. And he produces results! In presenting the award, his coach said “In my coaching career, I have never chosen team captains. I have found that captains reveal themselves by how they challenge and encourage their teammates. Nathaniel personifies that truth.” Way to go Natty! Love you son.

Blessed beyond measure for sure!! John has honored me for over ten years by having each of our children pick a color of a flower to go in a corsage for me on Mother’s day. Traditions are special but sometimes they adapt. Last year, we went from 5 to 6 flowers after Emma and Elijah were married. With John traveling this past week, I silently imagined that it wouldn’t happen this year. I didn’t have any hurt feelings about it and decided not to mention it to anyone. BUT MY GUY reminded the kids (while he was out of town) that he always makes sure I have a corsage for Mother’s Day and if they wanted to make it happen this year it was up to them. Elijah coordinated with the “kids” and stopped in to the Oviedo Florist and made the order while Dad was traveling with Uncle Gary. There is something special about watching your children take on family traditions. @johnrevans is not in these photos but I cannot let this day pass without thanking him for loving me so intentionally as his wife and walking alongside me as we parent these amazing human beings!!! @layton.evans was missed today but is serving the Lord in Brazil with students from Highlands College.

There was a time when it seemed like every stranger that passed me and my ducks in a row at the grocery store couldn’t think of anything more than to say “Your hands sure are full!” I always responded with, “Yes, hands full of blessings!” But I sure I didn’t know then how full my heart would get as they grew and I didn’t understand that there would always be room for more and more love!! The journey of motherhood is ever changing. Some mothers lament the changes and are saddened that their “babies” grow up but I am truly thrilled to be on this journey with John and all of our young adults and look forward to how that original crew of #The7Evans continues to grow and multiply.

My brother @gary112262 came down from South Carolina to spend a few days with me. My kids LOVE Uncle Gary. There is no denying the genetic connection! haha. He is the WAY cooler version of me that’s for sure. Breakfast this morning, then church, then lunch. Closed the day out with some Twistee Treat. Talk about a good day! 🙌🏼
