POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Here at Dragon Heart Press, we feel it’s important to be clear about our stance on AI. We are strongly against the use of generative AI within creative fields. Poetry is all about soul and humanity, things that AI has no business writing about. If you can’t write poetry without AI, consider that you probably weren’t meant to be a poet.

Some books are beautifully written, and some make you feel like someone has been paying attention to things you've never quite known how to explain. Moonsoul did a little of both for me♡

I loved how thought-provoking this book was. I highlighted so many passages because they touched on things that feel very real, especially the emotional weight of being the person everyone turns to.

If you're someone who feels things deeply, the person friends come to when they're struggling, or the one at home or work who is expected to manage everyone's feelings and well-being, I think you'll really empathize with the main character. There's something about seeing those experiences reflected in a story that makes you feel understood♡♡

So many of my highlights touched on the difference between who we are and what we do for other people, the difficulty of asking for help, and how easy it is to lose pieces of yourself when you're always the one holding things together.

This is one of those books that gave me a lot to think about, and I'm glad I took the time to mark the passages that stood out to me. 💛

My dudes!!

Of the 54 drawings I did for Exit run by @nathaniel.luscombe , this one is definitely my favorite! (Coming out on the 20th!) It’s been a long time since I’ve been so proud of a sketch before! I loosely based many of the drawings off of prehistoric sea creatures!

Sorry the timelapse is a little wonky, I couldn’t fix it!
