On the stage of the biggest jazz club in Paris, my trumpet betrayed me!

To all of you that are trumpetist, Is there an official word for the action of pressing on all buttons in between playing trying to realise them ?
I allow myself calling it a swipe but maybe you have a better suggestion for this move.

So long story short ,I had the flew for two weeks and obviously couldn’t practice, and than got on stage , what can I say?! When I trusted my 50 years old Bach the most , the buttons betrayed me!

And by the way, I count 15 swipes🙌🏽

A little teaser of some recent joy to break up your feed 👀

How has it been a whole month since we wrapped up on this retreat?!
We moved through it allllll with our breath, bodies & stories.
Intentionality.
Community.
Reverence.
Irreverence.
And Love.
So much Love.
Now more than ever - Love Love Love.

We all better together innit.
Solitude is aiiiighht.
I need it sometimes.
...I can get too into it sometimes.
But getting to moving through 'it' together ...? Allowing others in to see us in even those sticky, gristly, sludgy bits? As well as the shiny, zingy, joyous bits? Oof there's something really powerful in that.
Sometimes the most healing thing we can do is remind ourselves that other people feel 'it' too. As ol' Ram Dass says, 'we're all just walking each other home'.
