So proud of my son @nathanllujan for running the main spotlight at the Daisy Chain Fields Festival @daisychainfields on Saturday! It takes a lot of focus to nail the lighting for a massive show like that, and seeing the incredible result of his work is always amazing. Look at that gorgeous beam! ✨🎶

Missing my dad so much today, but smiling at this memory of him (he clearly deserved a medal for trying to read the paper under a constant splash threat).

I see his wonderful spirit alive in our family every day—and I’m so incredibly blessed to watch Fil be such an amazing father to our boys.

Happy Father’s Day to the one I miss dearly, and the one I’m so grateful to stand beside today! 💕 #HappyFathersDay

Here’s a couple photos from yesterday of Highway 1 and the rest are from our drive home today from Mendocino across the 128 then across the Golden Gate Bridge with a short wine stop at @turleywine, then Morrow Rock, and ending with dinner at @jockossteakhouse in Nipomo. Now making the final trek home and back to work tomorrow.

More redwoods and we tried to drive to Gold Bluffs Beach and Fern canyon but didn’t realize you needed reservations for that drive so had to turn around but what we saw was still beautiful. Stopped at Trinidad State Beach and then headed to the cutest Victorian town, Ferndale, that looked straight out of the Music Man (in fact it was the musical playing at their local repertory theatre)

First stop today was the Jedidiah Smith Redwoods State Park. We walked the Stout Grove trail and drove the Howland Hill Road.
