Had a long, but fun weekend up in KC, we stopped in Lee's Summit for lunch, pre getting ready for gigging, had some fun switching hotels and then we had a wonderful night at Brew Lab Brewery! I can't wait to do it again!

Just a fun lil thing I wrote recently, along with a reminder to not be afraid to let people know when you’re tired and feeling crummy. We can vibe and work it out together... anyways, hope y’all enjoy 😘❤️ keep reading if you’re interested in my music collab challenge/idea!

✨song challenge✨
I posted this verse/chorus on my story recently and got some really good responses from friends, so I figured I’d post it again along with an idea I had: why not use some of my unfinished songs as a way to collab with some of my musician friends, and maybe even make some new friends?

I’ve been really missing jam sessions since COVID hit and have quite a variety of unfinished material, so I figured this might be a fun way to inspire eachother musically, even from a distance.

So here’s the plan: if you vibe with this song, or any future ones I post, and wanna mess with arrangements/progressions/etc etc for it, hit me up and I can send you this clip directly. That way you can record what you come up with, and shoot it back to me! I’ll repost my favorites! ❤️

This invitation extends to anyone and everyone who feels like doing a fun exercise with me. ☺️❤️ I love collaboration, so if anyone has any ideas or ✨inspiration✨ for this song, feel free to shoot me a PM !! For anyone wondering, I like jazz chords/progressions a lot but I am open to any genre, this is just a fun exercise to see what different vibes we can create together. 🤙
Love y’all! ❤️❤️❤️

SWIPE TO REVEAL: First time to drop and stretch a release like this because the amount of late nights and repeats have been so so much and even till now, the final touches are being placed just to give you the best sound right now!

For those who didn’t or don’t know, this isn’t my first rodeo 🐎 started recording music in 2005 and still have the record today to prove it. It’s not by who charts first or who’s the first to cash out, it’s really how much impact you are bringing to the world 🌎 with what you have.

I just want to thank GOD, first and foremost, for this talent that has been groomed for donkey years. What you are going to listen to is pure music arrangements that resonate a current mindset that keeps you sane and in check.

The list is endless because, if you didn’t know, this project actually started in 2013 when @noiz254 and @laxophonist came to my crib back in #nairobikenya to record their #beatboxing and #saxophonesolo 🎷 parts. I kept those vocals and the beat I made for (now) “Siren” which ended up being the longest track on the tape because of all the elements that needed to be addressed (stream on YouTube & Genius now) — thank you @officialdianueva and @ruthpmbiola for coming in clutch last minute to spice up the vocals for #RoadToUniversoul2 —

The skits are special too. Pay attention to the wise words from Grandma & @chef_el_kago 😩 (5th Grade Talk)
