To my home away from home @midwesttrainingandice

For the past 13 years, Blackbirds has been a huge part of my life, and it’s crazy to finally say it’s all over. From championships to heartbreaking losses, early morning practices to late night games, long car rides, and messing around in hotels and creating memories I will never forget. Celebrating big wins in the locker room and all the moments in between made it even more special.

Blackbirds gave me more than just hockey. It gave me friendships that will last a lifetime and a second family I’ll always have.

Thank you to my parents for all the sacrifices, time, and support you gave me every single year. Thank you to my siblings for always being there and cheering me on.

Thank you to Coach Jake for the 6am lessons that pushed me to be better, and to Coach Buck and Coach Pat for finishing out my career and for trusting me to play in the big games. And thank you to all the coaches in between who helped pushed me to be my best.

Blackbirds will always be a part of me, and I am forever grateful #25out ❤️

Being able to put this jersey on the past 3 years has been a privilege. A privilege that I will never take for granted and am beyond grateful for. Putting on this jersey showed me what a second family could be and helped me create bonds I never thought I’d make. Onto the next chapter…
