Pittsburgh visit zoo & aquarium, then the @national_aviary 💕 I could have stayed there all weekend with the birdies! Early birthday trip for Ben @checks91 ❤️

Don’t underestimate the power of a few high impact floral moments.

At this @national_aviary National Aviary wedding, we poured most of our energy into two things: the mantels and the sweetheart table. The two mantels framed the space and the sweetheart table drew dramatic attention where it belongs - on the bride and groom. Those floral moments made the entire room feel finished with just a handful of thoughtfully designed bud vases scattered about each table.

If you’re planning a Pittsburgh wedding, I’d love to help you figure out where your flowers will do the most work, and then make those moments unforgettable with garden-style, locally grown blooms that will make guests stop and stare.

Bonus tip - Choose a florist who prioritizes locally grown flowers like the stunning black dahlias in these arrangements sourced from our friends at @3riversflowercoop and @pondhillfarm.pa

Day 19: Fall Bokeh

The cone flower caught my eye at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh. I love the striking color combination.
