Because y’all are always asking what we’re listening to, watching, reading, and following…

We made a list.

DESTIN CONRAD — ROADRUNNER

Destin said versatility, and apparently he meant it.

After giving us R&B and jazz, ROADRUNNER takes him into reggae and proves he can move between genres without losing what makes him Destin. We love an artist who refuses to stay in one box.

HOUSTON KENDRICK — PORTRAIT OF A BOY ON FIRE

If Houston Kendrick isn’t on your radar yet, fix that.

Portrait of a Boy on Fire is vulnerable, bold, and another reminder that some of the most interesting music right now is coming from queer Black artists.

imuRgency — YOUTUBE

We love somebody who can make us laugh and still have something to say.

imuRgency is funny, queer, creative, and exactly the kind of creator we want more people discovering.

NATIVES THE SERIES — YOUTUBE

More Black queer stories. More Black queer characters. More of us getting to tell our own damn stories.

Natives is an independent series worth putting on your watch list.

BLACK GAY COMIC GEEK

Because Black, gay, and geeky absolutely belong in the same sentence.

Michael has built a fun space where Black queer identity and geek culture can exist together without explanation, and we love seeing it.

PUSHERS, we put y’all on.

Now return the favor.

What are you listening to? What are you watching? And who should we be following?

Drop it below. Your recommendation might end up on the next List.

Season 2 of the Getting Older Podcast has officially come to an end🎙️✨I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who watched, listened, shared, supported, and followed this journey. This season was filled with honest conversations about mental health, healing, friendship, grief, growth, and everything that comes with navigating life.
Every guest who shared their story and every person who tuned in helped make this season special. I’m beyond grateful for the support and the community we’re continuing to build. Thank you for allowing me to create a space where we can be vulnerable, have meaningful conversations, and remind each other that we’re all still growing. Until Season 3… keep healing, keep growing, and keep getting older 🤍🎙️

Celebrate queer joy and the final weekend of Pride with @nativestheseries, the independent web series that creator @ronaldthomashinton calls “a love letter to New York City.”

Offering an optimistic vision of what it means to grow and thrive as a queer person of color, stream the first two episodes of NATIVES on YouTube, and read our q&a with the show’s creative team in this week’s issue of The Good Hour, 🔗 in bio.

Always a good time at @nativesonnow awards! This year was especially special because it was the 10th annual and on JUNETEENTH! ✊🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Ran into many familiar faces (managed to only take a few photos though 🤦🏾‍♂️) and met some new ones!

@emilwilbekin, our community is forever grateful for creating spaces where we’re Seen, Understood, and Valued as our unique Black and Queer selves! Thank you and we’ll forever make sure you receive your flowers while you can still smell them! 🌹🌷🌸🌻💐

Our Enby Highlight is on DaJuan - They/Them/She/Her @iam.dajuan 💜✨

“There is power in being yourself, even when the world doesn’t fully understand it yet.”

DaJuan takes a moment to reflect on identity as something that becomes more grounded with time. What once felt like something to explain has become something they simply embody.

There is a beautiful sense of movement in the way they speak about identity.

Like dance, their perspective embraces fluidity, expression, and the freedom to evolve without being confined to a single way of being. In doing so, they challenge the idea that softness is weakness, reminding us that authenticity is one of our greatest sources of strength.

Swipe through to sit with their perspective ✨. #twtspodcast #enby #nonbinary #trans #queervoices
