PLANT ALLIES 🌿✨

Sharing the 20 original paintings that came together for Plant Allies, our Visionary Muse Collective // @visionarymusecollective exhibition at @lodostudios in Santa Barbara. 🌊

This experience grew through months of meeting, dreaming, painting, planning, and collaborating together as a collective ~ and then finally gathering in person to see all of these individual visions sharing one physical space.

I’m so grateful to have helped produce this experience through Chroma Soul, partnering with LoDo Studios and collaborating alongside the artists of the Visionary Muse Collective, which I’m honored to be part of myself.
There is truly nothing quite like seeing an original painting up close in the physical dimension ~ where you can see the layers, texture, presence, and feel the energy of the work.

Seeing this entire body of work come together in one place was incredibly powerful. 💖

Swipe through to experience all 20 paintings. Each work is numbered with the artist, title, and muse portrayed, and the artists are tagged so you can connect with their work directly. ❤️

All paintings in this exhibition were created on 18 × 24 inch surfaces, with some works additionally framed.
Plant Allies will remain on view at LoDo Studios through January 10.

For serious inquiries about purchasing an available original from the exhibition, please contact Chroma Soul:

So much gratitude to the Visionary Muse Collective, LoDo Studios, and everyone who showed up to witness and celebrate the work with us. 🌿✨

A few moments from Plant Allies✨🌿

After months of meeting, dreaming, planning, and painting, it was so powerful to finally see members of the @visionarymusecollective together in person and witness what we created through collaboration. 💚🎨

Each artist created an original painting for this shared theme, and seeing all of these individual visions come together in one exhibition was incredibly special. I feel so honored to create alongside such an inspiring collective of women artists.

There is nothing quite like experiencing original paintings in the physical dimension ~ where you can truly see and feel the energy of the work.

And somewhere within it all, marigold kept finding me. 🌼 Natasza anointed me with it before our long drive to Santa Barbara, and on the second opening night my mom gifted me a beautiful marigold lei. It feels like a new plant ally has entered my life.

So much gratitude to Jacob // @jacobtell for welcoming ✨Plant Allies✨ into @lodostudios , to Tim // @decelorator for all of his help bringing everything together, and to @m.a.h.e.e.n.a for serenading the experience with his music. 🎶

And thank you to everyone who came, connected, and celebrated this work with us!!

✨Plant Allies✨ remains on view at LoDo Studios in Santa Barbara through January 10, 2027.

“Venenarius”
My portrait of @mantracoraart for the @visionarymusecollective

🌱
If you didn’t know, I’m part of an all women’s art collective that has shows all over the country. This year we drew names, and painted portraits of each other with the theme of plant allies
Mantra Cora’s portrait includes her allies of Belladona, Holy Basil, and Elephant Ear. I loved working with this theme to honor the ancient relationship between the feminine and plants, women and medicine. I saw her as an illuminated medicine woman acknowledging both the light and the dark of our approach to harnessing the power of herbal offerings.

And so much gratitude to @emmamarie.artistry for capturing me and the rose so beautifully.

We also all collaborated live and wove together our shared visions to remember this moment in time when women from all over the world came together to create. This piece will be available thru auction soon!

Thank you to @lodostudios for hosting this show. It will be on display until January so if you’re near Santa Barbara, go see it and let me know what you think ✨

This is my portrait of @giovanna_alvarez_art ! I’ve been a part of the @visionarymusecollective for a couple of years! And this time the theme was plant allies! During the period of 1,5 years we had lots of zoom calls to connect with each other and about moving towards organizing this show in Santa Barbara, California. I want to give special thanks to @emmamarie.artistry because I love you so much, @spero_art for creating me in such a unique and fun way! Giovanna for being my beautiful muse, @natka01 Natasza for stretching my painting and admiring my art and @jennifer.michelle.mceuen for all the organization! And all the other artists, each and every piece is so stunning and unique! Its been a great experience to connect with you all. #Nature #portraits #plantallie

Night 2 of ✨Plant Allies✨🌿

Both evenings of this exhibition were rooted in community ~ bringing the @visionarymusecollective together with the beautiful community of Santa Barbara to experience this body of work in person.

Night 2 gave us even more time to share the artists and the stories behind the work through artist talks, live painting, conversation, and more connection. 🎨

It was incredibly special to hear the artists speak about their work, their muses, and the plant allies woven into these paintings ~ and to create a space where the community could connect with the artists themselves, not only the finished pieces on the walls.

And throughout the evening, we created a collaborative live painting together ~ which will be 💥auctioned soon!!💥💥 More details to come! ✨

I’m so grateful for everyone who came, listened, shared, painted, connected, and helped make these two nights such a meaningful celebration of this collective and the work we’ve created together. 🌿💚

Thank you much to the team at @lodostudios for being so helpful and kind!
