Join us on Saturday the 10th of October at 1:00 PM for our sixth Long Table Saturdays event: Live Drawing, curated by Samia Naccash and featuring Dada Community Art Space!

About the workshop:
A live drawing session built around several exercises: drawing each other, exploring still life, sometimes collectively. We follow creative prompts, try different materials, train the hand and mind to let go. We close with a longer personal piece, with more time to develop and settle into.
All levels welcome, no experience needed, no right way to do it. Leave with pages full of weird, colorful, playful marks we rarely have the time or space to make alone.
Tender, a little electric, and a lot of fun.

Workshop time: 2pm-5pm
Workshop fee: 15$

About the facilitator:
Dada is a Beirut-based collective of artists, educators, land workers, community organizers, and children at heart. It holds space for classes, workshops, and creative gatherings, building a slow and intentional community through making things together.
Multi-disciplinary and collaborative at heart, they are also beginning to develop their own creative productions.

Everyone’s welcome–not just workshop participants!

@achyelias Elias Achy is a Beirut-based architect, photographer, and visual artist. His work explores geometry, light, and the relationship between people and space, transforming everyday scenes into minimalist compositions. Through abstraction and careful framing, he seeks moments of simplicity within surrounding chaos, inviting viewers to pause and observe.

@raythrows RayThrows Ceramics Studio is a Beirut-based ceramics studio founded in 2023 by Rayan Yehya, a multidisciplinary artist, designer, architect, and ceramicist. Through handcrafted wheel-thrown pieces, her practice explores materiality, craftsmanship, memory, and everyday rituals, celebrating the beauty and meaning found in objects made by hand.

@farah.kfoury my name is FAFA, i am an illustrator and comic artist. i like to talk about life, small habits, routine, everyday traditions, love, hate, tired people, funny people, busy people, the wind and anythings that moves, or not, breathes, or not, is pretty, or not.

@natsbeirut I am a visual artist and illustrator, with a background in craftwork. I explore themes of childhood, our relationship to the earth, as well as subtle critiques of the world we live in. Dream like imagery such as stars, moons and landscapes often show up in my work.

@abdosawma @kissssmeagainnnn To me, every moment is like a sneeze it deserves a “bless you” after it. My illustrations and animations are that “bless you.” I take the small, fleeting, everyday moments we usually rush past, being hurt, happy, in love , in shock or just staring at clouds and give them space to be seen. It’s not serious work. It’s playful, puffed up, wonky, and full of raw pop color, because I believe even the tiniest glimpses of life are worth acknowledging.
