Our first ECU football game is officially in the books! The Pirates didn’t get the win, but we loved getting to spend time with Nat and finally see what ECU game days are all about!

And I’m pretty sure I have never sweated that much in my entire life. 😂🥵 Here’s hoping for a little cooler weather next time! Go Pirates 💜🏴‍☠️💛

And then there was one… at home at least. First days of school! Hollins started high school on Monday and Nat had his first day of classes at ECU last week. He made my day by having a friend get a picture him which I thought would never happen 🤣. Happy freshman year to both ♥️!.

It’s been a whirlwind since graduation in May!

We soaked up every minute of our summer with Nat, knowing college was right around the corner. And then somehow, last week, that summer came to an abrupt end when we packed him up and dropped him off to start his freshman year. 🥹

We sure do miss having him at home…the house just isn’t quite the same without him but knowing he’s settling in, meeting new people, and already having a great time makes this mama’s heart a little happier.

So proud of you, Nat! Here’s to new friends, new adventures, and an amazing freshman year. We love you and miss you more than you know! 💜💛💜

As these 3 head in different directions for this coming year, I just keep telling myself it’s ok- it’s totally normal. There’s nothing quite like the bond between siblings. They can drive each other crazy one minute and be laughing the next, but when it really matters, they have each other. #siblings #3 #imnotcryingyourecrying

Yesterday we moved Nat into @eastcarolinauniv and left a piece of our heart in Greenville. 10 outta 10/ Not sure I recommend it yet… I’ll let yall know 😭🥺😭

He did it! 🎓

A couple of weeks ago Nat graduated and our hearts couldn’t be fuller. We were so grateful to celebrate this milestone surrounded by family and friends who have loved and supported him along the way.

These are the moments I hope to remember forever…hugs, the laughter, the pride, and seeing the incredible young man he has become.

Congratulations, Nattyboo! We are beyond proud of you and so excited to see what God has in store for your future. We love you more than words can say.

It’s been a big couple of weeks for our Hollins! She got confirmed at our church and had her eighth grade promotion. We are so proud of the amazing young woman she is becoming. High school here she comes!!

It has been a very fun and very busy spring! From birthday celebrations for friends to neighborhood play dates to spring break in NYC to the golf tournament at Quail Hollow Club and so much more, we have really had an amazing spring! School will be out for summer before we know it…. ☀️ 🎉

The greatest role I’ve ever had is being their mom. Because of them, I get to celebrate today. 🤍

I miss my mom every single day, but I truly believe I’m a better mother because of her. She taught me so much by the way she loved, gave, and showed up for the people around her. She was truly one of a kind!

Feeling extra grateful today for the privilege of being their mom… and for the incredible mom who shaped me into who I am.

I can’t forget about my amazing MIL either. She raised an incredible man and I am forever thankful to her!

Yesterday we celebrated Nat with Senior Sunday at our church. He was blessed with a blanket and a prayer as we begin preparing to send him off to college in just a few short months.

This tradition is so meaningful… covering these seniors in prayer as they step into what’s next. And somehow, I managed (just barely) to keep it together and hold back the tears.

So proud of you, Nat. Trusting God with every step ahead of you!
