Sauna is the best, but high heat does damage your hair and scalp. Here’s what’s actually happening up there, and what you can do about it.

If you’re asking me to hang out I hope it involves movement, sauna, a cold plunge and lots of laughing.

Not mad about falling hard for weekend maxing 🧊🔥

Honestly, why spend your day off doing the same old thing when you can cold plunge, sauna, drink wine and pretend you’re at a wellness retreat… in Niagara wine country?! 🥂

This vibe is my perfect kind of weekend: a little wellness, a little adventure, a little indulgence, and somewhere beautiful to do it all.

This is your sign that you don’t need a vacation to make the weekend feel like one ✨

We had such an incredible group of women come together for an afternoon dedicated to slowing down, taking some much-needed time for themselves, and connecting with one another.

Life gets busy, and it’s so easy to put ourselves at the bottom of the list. Sunday Reset was a reminder of how important it is to intentionally make space to pause, recharge and simply be, especially when we can do it alongside a community of women supporting one another. ✨

A huge thank you to @platinum_naturals, @therealchau, @therapywith.zara, @marliesmcconnell & @palatinehillsestatewinery for helping us bring this experience together and making the day so special and for @mariamariaphotographer for capturing the whole experience 📸

Such a positive experience from beginning to end, and we really hope to create a lot more of!

Here’s to taking time for ourselves, connecting with good people, and remembering that sometimes a reset is exactly what we need 🫶🏻

I keep coming back to one simple idea…

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱? 🌈🐾

Raising our kids alongside rescue dogs. Getting outside. Moving our bodies. Helping where we can. Supporting our community. Showing them that small acts of kindness really do matter.

That’s what Raising Kind is about.

It’s not about doing any of it perfectly. It’s about raising kids who notice, who care, and who grow up knowing they can make a difference.

And maybe inspiring a few other families to do a little more good along the way.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱. ❤️

Forget brunch! THIS is what your weekend reset in Niagara should actually look like ✨

A few rounds of contrast therapy leave you feeling energized, refreshed, and completely reset. Add an amazing community, summer sunshine, the best vineyard vibes, and winding down with a flight or glass of wine to top it all off and that’s what I call cloud 9🌤️

Safe to say I’ve officially unlocked my new weekend obsession for the foreseeable future… hanging with the Sauna Social Club BTYB the Backyard Spa Project at Palatine Hills Estate Winery 🧊🔥

Cheers to a wellness ritual that feels balanced, restorative and a little indulgent 🥂

Sauna Social Club! Can't recommend it more!!! Follow @backyardspaproject to book yourself a wellness experience that will make you feel simultaneously relaxed and invigorated. Weekends in beautiful Niagara on the Lake just got a whole lot better!!!

We set up DJ Marinko's Boom Box Jeep for the launch party and while I can't be there every weekend, I am going to consult with Josh and Natalie to make some vibey wellness playlists to accentuate the Nordic/Niagara spa experience.

Wondering what to expect at a Sauna Social? 🔥❄️

✔️ Arrive and check in.
✔️ Get changed in our on-site change room.
✔️ Rinse off in the shower (yes, we have one!).
✔️ Spend 10–15 minutes in our traditional wood-fired sauna.
✔️ Rinse before easing into the cold plunge.
✔️ Step out, relax, rehydrate, enjoy the music, meet new people, or simply take in the vineyard views.
✔️ When you’re ready, head back into the sauna and repeat the cycle.

There’s no timer and no pressure—move at your own pace and stay as long as you’d like.

Our goal is simple: to make contrast therapy part of your weekly wellness routine—just like going to the gym or your favourite yoga class. Whether you’re recovering from a workout, training for your next HYROX, looking to reduce stress, or simply wanting to unplug from the noise of everyday life, Sauna Social is a place to slow down, connect, and leave feeling refreshed.

Come see what it’s all about this weekend… we have a feeling you’ll be back next weekend too. 🔥🍷
