Growing up, we were taught to never throw away bread. Not one crust. 🍞 So when I tasted @natureknead s bread, I felt it straight away: home. ❤️ Most of you know Juliana Stoyanovska as a hair and makeup artist to the stars, but her magical hands don’t just create beauty, they create taste. Through Nature Knead she bakes handcrafted Balkan-style sourdough and artisan breads, freshly baked to order in Denham Court, Sydney. Ajvar sourdough, and so many more flavours we grew up on, all in one beautiful loaf. She’s also a true community leader who loves connecting with people. Wherever you are in the world, if you’d love to collaborate, send her a message. 📍 Denham Court, Sydney 📩 DM @natureknead to order or connect 📞 0414 765 520 Tell her Balkan Sis sent you. HOMEMADE WITH LOVE, AND YOU CAN TASTE IT! You know when you try something and think, WOW, where has this been all my life?! Well, that was me trying the beautiful handcrafted sourdough from @natureknead , lovingly made by Juliana Stojanovska, a talented mum who clearly puts her heart and soul into every loaf. I was lucky enough to try two of her creations, one with ajvar and the other with sauerkraut, and let me tell you, they were absolutely AMAZING! The Ajvar Sourdough I toasted a couple of slices, topped them with poached eggs and some of our feta, and OH MY GOODNESS! The flavours together were incredible. And the best part? I didn’t feel all heavy and bloated afterwards, which is something I really appreciated! The Sauerkraut Sourdough Now this one was something different! I enjoyed it lightly toasted with a little yoghurt on the side, and honestly, it reminded me of those beautiful homemade Balkan flavours we grew up with. Simple, comforting and absolutely delicious. Handmade by a mum who’s turned her passion into something beautiful. There’s no fancy factory behind this, just someone putting in the time, patience and love to create something she’s proud of. I eat two loaves, and not one ounce of me feel guilty xx If you haven’t tried Nature Knead yet, do yourself a favour. This is bread worth making a proper breakfast for! From one small family business to another, keep doing what you love. We see the hard work, the early mornings and the love that goes into it all. ❤️ #NatureKnead #HomemadeWithLove #SourdoughBread #SupportSmallBusiness #BalkanFlavours RosaDoraImports

🚗 MUM & DAD OFF DUTY | PART 4 ❤️ And just like that, our Sydney adventure comes to an end! 🥹 What a weekend. What a trip. What beautiful memories! From celebrating love at Nicole and Nuno’s wedding to visiting our dear Strina, Striko, the Strbac family and precious friends who are more like family. ❤️ We stopped by the beautiful family behind Rosa Dora Imports in Kogarah, crossed the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, snacked on homemade bread and all the goodies we’d collected along the way, laughed, talked and soaked up every moment. Safe to say, a trip of a lifetime! 🥂 For the first time in over TWO years, we left both our children behind and took some much-needed time for ourselves. And you know what? It was AMAZING! No schedules, no rushing, no constant responsibilities. Just the two of us, reconnecting, decompressing, dancing, laughing, eating, exploring and genuinely enjoying each other’s company. A MASSIVE thank you to our incredible village. Baba, Dido, Nonno, Nonna, aunties, uncles, cousins and everyone who helped make this possible. We are truly blessed beyond words. ❤️ To every mum and dad out there, if you have a village, big or small, and the opportunity to get away together, DO IT! Ditch the guilt. The washing can wait. The to-do list will still be there. Go on that road trip. Dance until your feet hurt. Laugh until your belly aches. Eat the bread. Have the coffee. Make the memories. Because before we were Mum and Dad, we were two people who fell in love, and that relationship deserves time and attention too. 🩷 We came home with full hearts, beautiful memories and an even greater appreciation for our family, our village and each other. Here’s to making time for love, connection, adventure and simply LIVING! Until the next adventure… Živjeli! 🥂❤️ #MumAndDadOffDuty #SydneyRoadTrip #MakingMemories

❤️ MUM & DAD OFF DUTY | PART 2 🥂 Coffee, homemade sourdough, ajvar, kupus, hair, makeup, a hot dress and a whole lot of LOVE! 😍 This part of our Sydney adventure is dedicated to the incredible Juliana from Nature Knead. ❤️ Where do I even begin with this woman?! A mother, wife, friend, business owner and professional hair and makeup artist to the stars! But above all, an absolutely beautiful human being with a heart of gold. Juliana spoiled me rotten! From the most delicious homemade sourdough bread served with ajvar, kupus and all the other goodies, to getting me glammed up for our dear friends’ wedding. I honestly felt like a superstar! ✨ And can we talk about THE BREAD?! 🤤 Now, my standards are HIGH because my mama makes the best pogača, but Juliana, my love, you have GOLDEN HANDS! Zlatne ruke! 🙌 One thing I’m incredibly passionate about is supporting other mums, women and small business owners who are working tirelessly to build something of their own and create a better future for their families. I see you. I appreciate you. And I’ll always cheer you on! There’s something so special about women supporting women, sharing their talents, opening their homes and making each other feel loved. Juliana, thank you for your generosity, your beautiful energy and for making me feel so special. I’m genuinely overwhelmed with love! 🥹❤️ A belly full of bread, a heart full of gratitude, hair and makeup done, a hot dress on and Mum and Dad officially OFF DUTY! Now we’re ready to celebrate two epic humans, Nicole and Nuno! 🥂💍 Feeling blessed beyond words. Živjeli! ❤️ #MumAndDadOffDuty #WomenSupportingWomen #SydneyDiaries @julianamakeupandhair @natureknead

One thing I’ll always be passionate about is supporting women, families and small businesses in our community. ❤️ Balkan Sis is about more than sharing stories. It’s about connection, community and backing the people who are putting their heart into creating something of their own. So I’m very proud to support Juliana Stojanovska and her Sydney-based family business, Nature Knead 🥖✨ There’s something special about seeing a woman build a business around family, tradition, food and something made by hand. These are the businesses I want to see thrive, and the ones we can all help grow simply by sharing, following, ordering and spreading the word. Sydney friends, go show Juliana some Balkan Sis love and reach out to her over on @natureknead. ❤️ And apparently I’m FINALLY getting to try some of her famous TV bread when I’m in Sydney this October… OPA! 😂🥖🙌🏼 #BalkanSis #NatureKnead #SupportSmallBusiness @natureknead
