🍁🦉 Flocktoberfest 2026 🦉🍁

I’m owlways excited to host another owlightful event at the wonderful Denver Audubon Society with @naturesed ! 😂 Birds of a feather really do flock together, and I was so excited to meet so many fellow bird people! 🤎

A few fun facts I learned:
🦉 Owls can turn their heads about 270° — because apparently 180° just wasn’t enough.
👀 Their eyes are fixed in place, so they turn their whole heads to see what’s going on.
🐶 There’s no need to worry about an owl dognapping Boo Bear — they can’t lift anything heavier than themselves.
⚠️ Rodent poison can be deadly to owls, so please consider wildlife-safe alternatives — like not killing rodents.

Beautiful little fluffy dinosaurs 🪶 🦖 , fascinating facts, wonderful bird enthusiasts, and a wing-dinger of a good time— I can’t wait to catch the owls nest year at Flocktoberfest 2027! 🦉 ✨

For those of you who’ve actually read this, thank you for indulging my little bird nerd manifesto. 🐦

Huzzah for my very first ren faire! Being a lavender fairy was a catalyst for so much joy— meeting a barn owl, catching a glimpse of a rare albino deer, beautiful braids, amazing aerials, rousing jousting, raunchy pirates, trinket trading, and shopping from real artisans. Eat, drynk, and be merrie until next year!
