Night 6 of Something Rotten was a fun one, another standing ovation during A Musical, lots of teachers and family at the performance, and a Muny Kids show beforehand. It was a wonderful Muny Night. One more chance to see the Muny Kids perform at 7 pm (free), then grab a ticket to see Something Rotten-a super fun show. Muny Season 108 ends tonight and so does summer-🥲. Officially back to the grind of the school year. Thanks to The Muny and The Muny Education Department for providing us a summer full of magical memories-we are so grateful!!!

My senior solo, “As the World Caves In” ❤️

Choreography: @natwill93

I’m really going to miss this solo, and even though the year didn’t end how I expected, I’m so happy with all of the hard work and dedication that went into this piece. It really pushed me to become a better dancer and I couldn’t have asked for a better senior solo.

Thank you Natalie for always pushing me to become a better version of myself. I wouldn’t have gotten to where I am today without you. I’ll miss working on this solo (and my other solo) with you.

Shrek night 6-hottest of all nights-Wowsa! Started with a fabulous teen show, Mack came again and drew a picture for his favorite character in the show who played Donkey, dance teachers, friends from dance and school, along with Muny friends were all there. It clearly was the night to wear white dresses. 🤍🤍🤍 2 more chances to see this fun show-tonight and tomorrow!

Cruise sadly ended (more pics from that to come when I can get them to load🤦🏼‍♀️) and we headed into Showcase Weekend-4 shows watching Mack and Tatum do what they love with people they love. Poor Presley broke her foot and couldn’t do tap trio so their teacher Miss Jo did it with them-a core memory for Macie and Tatum for sure. They smiled bigger than we’ve ever seen, however are ready for Presley to heal!!! Tatum also got to dance with Combo 1 as the male singer and she loved getting to dance with those girls! Mack loved having Rayna as his little this year and Tatum loved having Kendall-they were both so sweet! There are many ups and downs throughout a dance season but knowing these teachers have our kid’s best interests at heart means so much. The daily grind is definitely hard and evokes many emotions but it’s so worth it seeing the end result. Thanks Rokita for loving our kids!
