Today, I had a great time during the #getreadyforyouthwork delivered by Laura from @youth_scotland
To get to know policies, outcomes, games and your co-workers mustn’t be boring.

Hoy lo pasé genial en el #getreadyforyouthwork impartido por Laura de @youth_scotland.
Conocer el reglamento, los objetivos, los juegos y a tus compañeros de trabajo no tiene por qué ser aburrido.

Only I can say that I am so grateful 🙏🏽💕 to this family. Touched my heart ⭐️💚

Great day at #TaySideMaths Conference 2024 😊 I took away the workshop from Pete Wright “Teaching mathematics for social justice” and these words from @TaraHarper “this is ‘a’ way, not ‘the’ way” and “am always on the lookout for great ideas to keep my practice fresh and relevant”, inspiring words and humble professional is my thought. @dundeeuni

Remembering how lovely this weekend has been. So enjoyed my morning retreat with Lindsey Yoganuu on Saturday morning in The Yoga Social 's beautiful yurt.

And yesterday morning we had our mindful walk in bright sunshine in Callendar Park.

Revisiting our happy memories helps them to take root in our memory banks and can help lift our mood.

What did you get up to this weekend?

Bet you thought retreats were all about eating lettuce and silence? Well, would you look at what we had on our Reconnect Retreat in October? ⠀
⠀
We are lucky enough to be good friends with the owners of Berto's Brownies, and couldn't resist taking some of their delicious brownies along to our retreat in Eden Leisure Village. They were all gluten free, and we had vegan options too. The brownies were cut into quarters, so you could have just a bite and they were amazing! ⠀
⠀
We sometimes have preconceptions about what things are like. Retreats definitely aren't all about eating lettuce and being silent - although there's definitely some space for that within them, if that's what you want.⠀
⠀
We've got several retreats coming up in 2022. Have a look at our website for more information - link in bio.⠀
⠀
PS: It's National Chocolate Brownie Day today - so do feel free to indulge!!⠀

Festive Afternoon with our community in Callendar House, Falkirk this afternoon. It was so good to get together with those who are local - many of us had never seen each other in-person before!

Thank you to everyone who came along. For those in our online community who aren't local, we've got a Christmas Gathering online on Wednesday 22nd December - bring your own cakes!!
