🐾Case File 27: Pub Duty

Today's mission: a little longer in the pub.

We worked on pairing unfamiliar noises, including the Boston tin, with tasty paste to help build positive associations. Every new sound is information, not a reason to worry.

We also practised an important lesson: as cute as I am, not everybody wants to say hello or give me a pat... and that's absolutely fine.

My job isn't to meet everyone. My job is to stay settled, watch the world go by, check in with my mums, and make good choices.

Cheese bones, antlers, plenty of rewards, and lots of calm observation made for another successful training session.

Small exposures. Positive experiences. A confident dog in the making. 🐾✨

Day 19/30 of ‘Where I’d take my [???] friend visiting Edinburgh’

Today: The Beer Bro. He wants the best local beers. And there are some excellent breweries in Edinburgh.

So let’s visit a few.

Starting with Moonwake @moonwaketaproom @moonwakebeer

Then onto @campervan_tap @campervanbrew

Then the nearby Newbarns @newbarnsbrewery
(My personal favourite)

It’s now time for a bit of a feed at Pala pizza - unreal Roman style pizzas @pala.edin

Then a bloody great end pub/bar, Nauticus @nauticusbar
This is a really top rated spot, for cocktails as well as beers.

And because apparently I enjoy making my restaurant wish list completely unmanageable, I also got the Dogstar team to hand over their Little Black Book while I was there.

I’m not giving those away just yet, but there are some VERY good names on it.
