Gunung Tahan (M2M) | 08–11 Oct 2026 | 2,187m | 32+ km ,20+kg Load | 4D3N🏔️✨

I’m not going to lie—this was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Gunung Tahan tested me in every way possible: physically, emotionally, and mentally. Pure struggle was matched by endless laughter, trail chats, and epic teamwork across our crew—our guide, 2 porters, and a strong lineup of 7 men and 2 women.

Our team even took on a massive gamble—a grueling dayhike from Kem Kubang straight to the summit and back. It's a brutal push that most hikers avoid, yet our team decided to go for it due to raining season and achieved it! I fought hard to hit the peak and made it all the way out right within the Cut-Off Time! ⏱️😜💪🏾🥾 Seriously..Hate the COT.. Eerrggh. 🤐

The most unexpected and emotional moment happened at the peak. During Sara's G7 graduation, he officially passed the sash—the G7 completion task—to me. Sara, thank you for recognizing my strength and trusting me with this incredible legacy. As promised, I will step up and complete the remaining 4 mountains with your guidence yea..! 🏔️🔥😍💜💚

And to Indran (Trail Navigator),Arvind (Dollar Thambhi) and Kak Nor—thank you for anchoring me out there—your constant support (and literal towing! Hahaha) made all the difference.💜💚💪🏾🥾🦋🍃⛰️✨

Another mountain with new incredible souls. CHAMPIONS!! 🦋💜🥾

🏔️ *GUNUNG TAHAN 2,187M — G7 COMPLETED! 🏆🔥* - Merapoh to Merapoh-

I'm proud to share that I have successfully summited *Gunung Tahan (2,187m), the highest peak in Peninsular Malaysia!* 💪⛰️

This expedition was far from easy. We faced heavy rain, extremely muddy terrain, and the challenge of carrying a heavy backpack weighing approximately *22kg each*. Due to the heavy rain, we couldn't begin our journey at the scheduled time. Nevertheless, we pushed through every obstacle and successfully reached the summit within the given Cut-Off Time (COT)! 🙌

More importantly, *Gunung Tahan marks my final G7 peak, and I am officially a G7 finisher!* 🎉 Seven legendary mountains conquered, countless challenges overcome, and memories that will stay with me forever. This journey has taught me the true meaning of perseverance, resilience, teamwork, and never giving up when the going gets tough.

🔥*A Special Shout-Out to Vijaya!* 🔥

Bravo, Vijaya! 👏 Carrying a 20kg backpack without porter support is no easy task. Your determination, courage, and consistency are truly inspiring!

After conquering Korbu and Gayong, you've now completed another challenging G7 mountain. 💪⛰️

Keep believing in yourself and pushing your limits! With this experience, I'm sure you'll be better prepared for the remaining four G7 mountains. All the best, sis!

🧭 Navin – The Dancing Yogi! 💃🕺

A big thank you to our precise navigator, Navin, for calculating our timings and guiding us through every checkpoint to meet the given COT. Despite the heavy rain and delayed start, we managed to reach the campsite ahead of time. Your consistency, planning, and leadership were truly amazing, bro! 👏

🇸🇬 Arvin – Our Singapore Macha! 🤝❤️

Thanks for always lending a helping hand whenever anyone needed it. Honestly, I wouldn't have guessed you had an army background because you're so humble, friendly, and down-to-earth! It was a pleasure sharing this adventure with you, macha. See you again soon! 💪⛰️
