My second function in Munich this year❣️
I gotta admit… everything about this trip (train connection, accommodation, effect, me walking) was much more spontaneous than i anticipated. But i am very happy everything turned out it did that night. 😅😻
If it wasn‘t cause of @lukie.krl @cr1zy.b2rry @sira4559 and their supportive and encouraging words i may wouldn‘t have walked at all. And despite the fact how far i came i am (a bit) proud of myself and most importantly i had fun.
The function was cute and very beautiful. I was very surprised to get a rolecall and therefore i was a bit overwhelmed but i tried to enjoy that short moment as much as i could. It made me feel like my presence in ballroom finally was recognized and acknowledged. Then I realized again: I belong here and i don’t need to desperately prove it all the time. After the rolecall I walked Runway and FF Realness. I got my 10s but didn’t get far after. The Runway battle was messy (my tricks and turns were sloppy and i started to overthink) and Realness i obviously lost against @nicitea_summer. But i knew it was happening and i didn‘t mind. I was happy that i got my 10s at all and could share this beautiful moment with her. It really was an honor and I felt beautiful nonetheless.
What i enjoyed the most was not only to see all the very very lovely ppl from the Munich and Nürnberg scenes again but especially how the ballroom communities in south Germany are growing and that my other siblings from @serve.stuttgart were blooming and shining on the ballroom floor as well.
Overall i am very grateful for this experience and opportunity. I learned a lot and i can see my progress. It might take a while. But the improvement is there.
I can‘t wait to be in Munich again soon. Not only because of the balls but especially because of all the people who live here.
But yeah… next stop: Nürnberg 🚉💖🎄
