To be loved by Tenee is to also understand the true definition of unconditional. A person full of life, she was like your light at the end of a dark tunnel, always providing a shoulder to lean on even on days she couldn’t give it to herself. Someone who provided comedic relief in times you needed to smile again, and wore her heart on her sleeve and wasn’t ashamed of doing so.

To my big sister, thank you for loving me, accepting me for who I am, supporting me, having fun with me, giving me all you could give, never batting an eye, and making me feel wanted when I didn’t feel it elsewhere. I will always love you, and you’ll always be my best friend. FOREVER BOOG ♾️ 💔

You made this last decade of our friendship feel like home. Thank you for going through life with me and seeing me in every season. Thank you for being that for me. Thank you for always showing up when it mattered most. You made me feel seen, valued and loved in a way I’ll carry forever.

I thought I was preparing myself for this day, but the truth is… I’m not ready. I don’t know how to accept this. I don’t know how to move through life without you by my side.. it doesn’t feel real.
