Such a special evening to see a group of people publicly declare their faith and desire to follow Jesus with their lives. Even more special when one is your own daughter. Thankful for God’s faithfulness.

“God is already here.”

That was the quiet but unmistakable sense as we gathered in Woodlawn for our third preview service this past Sunday.

In a borrowed space, surrounded by new and familiar faces, we prayed, we worshiped, we listened for the Spirit, and we shared vision—not just for a church service, but for a gathered people and God’s presence in the Woodlawn neighbourhood.

A presence of hope. A presence of Love. A presence of Jesus.

What’s unfolding is not just about a launch date—it’s about people choosing to walk with God, together, in a specific place. And this past Sunday was a glimpse of what’s to come.

📍 Mark your calendar: Deep Water Woodlawn, Sept 21 @ 6pm

Let’s keep praying. Let’s keep showing up. The Spirit is already moving.

Last night’s Worship Night was a powerful reminder of the simplicity and depth of gathering together as Jesus followers.

We are so grateful for the way the Spirit moved among us – calling us to deeper faith, and inspiring us to join our lives with the people around us. Whether you sang, prayed quietly, or reflected on God’s goodness, each of you brought something meaningful to our shared worship. And to our team who prepared and served, your humility and dedication reflect the heart of Jesus.

Last night was not just a moment; it was a step in our journey together as Jesus followers. Let’s carry this spirit of worship into how we live, serve, and love in the world.

Picked up Maya from her incredible month at LIT and #slwcyouthcamp2024. Got to witness a baptism and chat with my mate and camp speaker @naymask before he abandons (betrays?) Central Canada District for Atlantic Canada :-). Lovely to have the family together (hugs and stories) for a few moments before leaving En and Ari at Silver Lake and coming home for Karen's birthday celebrations!
