Oh Bali…
I don’t really believe in coincidences anymore.
We don’t meet anyone by chance.
We don’t end up thousands of miles away from home by chance either.
There are people who come into our lives to change us,
places that find us when we need them,
and paths that we only understand once we’ve walked them.
Because a place doesn’t come to erase our doubts, our fears or our bad days.
It simply teaches us to look at them differently.
Sometimes, all it takes is changing our surroundings to change our perspective, taking a step back to find ourselves again.
We meet people we might never have known anywhere else.
We live moments we could never have imagined.
And somewhere, between the encounters, the departures and the unexpected moments, we sometimes discover a new version of ourselves.
Maybe that’s what life is.
Encounters, departures, detours, wounds and memories…
that, without us knowing it, slowly build our story.
So I trust destiny.
Because even when we don’t understand where we’re going,
there are always brighter days ahead.
And with all the good as well as all the bad, some chapters remain engraved in us forever. Bali will remain one of those unforgettable chapters, one of those experiences that we carry with us long after we’ve returned home.
And maybe everything that happens today is leading you exactly where you are meant to be. 🤍
