Heyyyy everyone! My name is Bella Brown!
I am from the greatest city of them all, New York City🗽and a fourth-year Communications and Media major at Nazareth University. I am passionate about uplifting our youth, because representation truly changes lives. I want every young person to see themselves in leadership, excellence, and opportunity.

As your next Miss Black and Gold, I’m committed to building intentional community and creating spaces where underrepresented voices are not just heard, but also celebrated. I will work alongside the distinguished brothers of the Mu Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated to serve, mentor, and volunteer, to connect people with real resources that will create long lasting impact.

This isn’t just about wearing a crown, it’s about doing the work, showing up with purpose, and leaving every space better than I found it… all while having fun. ✨💛🖤

Join Our Festival Committees 🎉

We are looking for dedicated community members to help plan the 2026 Lunar New Year Festival, the largest AAPI celebration in Rochester. Serving on a committee is a meaningful way to contribute your skills, build connections, and help shape a joyful event for thousands of attendees.

Committee roles are available in Performances, Vendors & Marketplace, Volunteers, Cultural Activities, Logistics & Operations, Sponsorship & Outreach, and Marketing & Communications. The festival template is set to go—we now need your talent to help bring this event to the next level!
Please let us know by December 28, 2025.

Our first committee Zoom meeting will be scheduled shortly after, and committees will meet every two weeks via Zoom for check-ins and collaboration.

If you believe in community, teamwork, and cultural celebration, we would love to have you join us. Committee sign-up is now open.
