@bond_app BOND Expérience_GIVENCHY Givenchy went through a quieter period after its huge success under Riccardo Tisci. When a Superstar Creative Director with a devoted following leaves a house, it often takes time for a new CD to establish a fresh vision and find their footing. As a longtime Givenchy fan, I feel the house is coming alive again with Sarah Burton as Creative Director. As you know, Sarah proved her talent at Alexander McQueen. She may be understated, but I believe her aesthetic sensibility, her eye for cut, color and fit, and her tailoring expertise are among the very best. And one more extra thing! McQueen’s Instagram content during her tenure was so beautifully crafted and visually compelling, and lately, I feel Givenchy’s content has been elevated in much the same way! Keep an eye on their collections and content. I believe Givenchy is building momentum again. Sarah is Sarah! 💛 . A LOOK BACK: PFW CELINE MENS SS27 VERDICT: I AM HE, YOU ARE HE, YOU ARE ME, WE ARE ALL TOGETHER. @nazknowz and I were fortunate enough to attend Michael Rider’s first Men’s show for @celine in June 2026. The first thing I noticed as I entered the venue was: It’s BRIGHT AF IN HERE. A departure from the past. This collection was also bright and colorful and it clearly was designed with multiple client interest and demographics in mind. There seems to be this trend among newly hired creative designers at luxury brands to offer a smorgasbord of looks to their clientele. Most of it comes off as schizophrenic, trying to hard and boring (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE). But I can honestly say that Celine has succeeded in this type of offering largely because it augments its looks with accessories that bring it all together in a fresh, wearable original way. It allows for individual originality in a brand. And Rider is to be applauded for that. I recently went on a spiritual retreat in the Hollywood Hills. While the hippie clothes vibe is not my thing, a lot of these looks would fit right in .. in a bourgeoise sort of way. But there are enough fitted top coats, embellished denim and leather and cool accessories to keep me coming back, perhaps not at Hedi levels but just enough. Rick Owens SS27 STONE: First thoughts Ethereal, surreal, angelic, transcendent , subdued. These are the first thoughts I use to describe the procession of fantastic talent that floated down the runway ramp of another standout Rick show. The flowing robes that reminded me of Dune 3 High Priestesses to Saint Aleya (in white) or the Bene Gesserit (in Black), were the standout for me, as they billowed in the wind. Simply BEAUTIFUL. Backstage, a closer look revealed that the material on some were upcycled@webbing and one of the gowns was made of parachute silk. Of course, ever the savvy businessman Rick also offered tunics, cropped jackets, beautiful wide leg pants that were more down to earth than the angelic opening. All wearable for day to day in beautiful colorways. Still as always, Rick is about family. And the chance to share this moment with friends made the highlight of the show even more special. Every moment. Every season. Big shoutout to the talent who walked the ramp in those beautiful boots and flowing gowns. They earned their pay this trip around the sun👏🏿👏🏿. RICK OWENS PFW SS27 MENS RECAP: In the blazing heat, on the hottest day in Paris, we sweated our asses off waiting for the show to begin. Rick then delivered a cool (literally) stylish, wearable collection both sporty and elegant. My favorite standouts were the return of the Neue coat, the Adidas wide leg sweatpants and the Dracullar Silk Jacket (slide 18!). We witnessed some funny Puffy looking adidas jackets and shorts only to realize the joke was on us sweating in the heat while the pieces had a built in cooling system and the models were chillin. But as with all Rick shows it’s also about FAMILY. From the day I land to celebrating my birthday after the show to supporting my professional endeavors, I feel fortunate to be surrounded by a great group of humans. We love the clothes. I love all things Regal. Imperial jackets, neckties, military, adornments, big shoulders. My first was @hedislimane palladium collection in 2016 that i was lucky to attend (thank you @ysl) I was hooked after that. Here’s to a few over the years reinterpreted. Just because. As we embark on the future I also want to thank the friends and family over the years that helped get us here. But as for the music I picked says .. don’t get me mad😂. Here we go again. A new Fashion month is upon us and time to look back before we go forward. ALOT has changed for us (more on that later) but the love never dies. PFW Recap: DIOR Resee SS27 @dior men’s SS27 was one of my favorite shows of the season. At first glance Jonathan Anderson’s styling told the story of a Boho style night on the town. But the impeccable tailoring and his consistency to weave Dior history in to this collection is what’s so attractive here. This is styling for an existing client while trying to court new ones. Like me. And he succeeds for me. It had shades of that which came before that I LOVE. The Hedi skinny tailoring was unmistakeable and when paired with a military coat you felt transported. The bar jacket returns. My favorites. A fringed white tuxedo sport coat that goes with EVERY FUCKING THING IN MY CLOSET. And you know I love me a military jacket. Fitted. That can go both casual and tailored. But once again beyond the clothes. It’s the people. And the team at Dior are simply just the coolest and inviting individuals we have met as a client. To be clear that goes for both Paris team AND the US. That makes this collection even more special. I felt like a magic man in the clothes and the experience. I forgot. Everything at the resee is a sample 46. I’m a 48 usually so some products will require a size up! And shout out to the @bond_app fam.
