99% chase the man-made city. We chose the mountains 🏔

You know that penguin who turned his back on the colony and walked toward the mountains? Everyone thought he was crazy. He just kept walking. That’s us 🐧

Somewhere between nights on frozen ground, sunrises on the summit and coffee at 4am, we figured it out: real life isn’t on your screen or in office. It’s up there. With the people who keep walking next to you when it gets hard.

I want to thank every single person who’s been on my path. My brothers, my friends, every creator who shared the trail, the tent, the fear and the laughs with me. I love each one of you with my whole heart ❤️

And above all, thank you God. For everything that happened, everything that’s happening, and everything that’s still to come. For every peak and every fall. None of it was for nothing 🙏

This is just the beginning. See you at the top🫂

The Prada Sport

In 1997 Prada did something no luxury house had ever done before. They launched a sportswear line.

It started with Neil Barrett. A young designer who had just finished at Gucci, he wrote a letter to Prada CEO Patrizio Bertelli suggesting the house should launch a menswear line and that he should be the one to run it. Bertelli hired him in 1995. Two years later, Prada Sport was born. The signature was simple — a thin red rubber stripe running along the sleeve or collar of every piece. Linea Rossa. Red Line. That was all it needed.

The combination of minimalist style and avant-garde materials gave the clothes an almost futuristic quality, interpreting the optimism about technology that defined the late 1990s. Nylon, Pocono fabric, Gore-Tex — materials that luxury houses had never touched — now sitting alongside the Prada name. Miuccia Prada described it simply: “Our idea is to mix technology with normal dressing. You don’t need to disguise yourself as a champion to practice a sport.”

It became a winning formula for subcultures across Europe. UK drum and bass, garage, football fan culture. You could look sharp while raving all night. It offered an alternative to Stone Island and CP Company for an entire generation. The line was discontinued in the mid-2000s and returned in 2018 under its official name Prada Linea Rossa. Vintage pieces now sell out on Depop and Vestiaire within hours.

Every athleisure collection, every luxury sportswear drop you see today traces a line back to 1997. That thin red line.
