Before the smiley face. Before the tabloids. Before the UK explosion.

Acid house was a basement experiment in Chicago; three young producers, a discarded Roland TB-303, and a DJ brave enough to play something no one understood the first time.

What came out of that moment at the Music Box wasn’t just a new sound. It was a shift in dance music’s DNA. Raw, repetitive and uncompromising, acid house redefined what house could be and pushed club culture into uncharted territory.

This carousel looks back at the origin point and the machine that rewired the dancefloor.

Nearly 40 years later, that squelch still hits.

I’ve been having fun making visual aids for each song on the project for future live performances and this is one of them I’m still working on. It features original and curated footage from myself and others. 🙏

About a decade ago I released my first official project “Skygod Side A”. At the time, I had zero expectations aside from self expression and helping to gain more momentum for my crew AGO Music Group. Originally the project dropped exclusively on Bandcamp & Soundcloud but after a few months passed I made almost 1000$ from the tape. That was the most I ever made from music at the time. So I figured since people are listening, let me try to get the project on streaming which was fairly new then. To date ,The project accumulated 1,000,000+ streams, music from it was featured in an @asics x @soundcloud campaign , and most importantly it changed my life. It showed me collaboration is key and that people actually do want to hear what I make and if you build it they will come.

I’m happy to announce the follow up to my debut release on 11.14.25 “SKYGOD SIDE B”. I promised so many of y’all I would make this over the years, but most importantly I promised myself. So here we are.

To produce and write this body of work, I had to harness the feeling of creating without expectation in the spirit of how the first one was created. I’m proud of this collection of songs and thankful for everyone who contributed to the project. I can’t wait wit to share it y’all. As always , thanks for the continued support 🙏🎶❤️
