Jason Isbell documentary on HBO lived up to the hype. I got to play a tiny tiny part of his “Reunions” release show at @bbowlnashville. By tiny part, I mean I mopped the stage floor.

A month ago, I set out on a series of trips to London, NYC, New Orleans and Nashville. Getting back out there to see my work partners, family and friends was critical to restarting life as we need it. Humans need human interaction, even with a potential risk of illness. As I lie in bed with Covid, having caught it at the tail end of the fourth trip, I'm positive it was all worth it, and I'd take the risk and do it all again (except for the part where Sabrina got sick while I was out there). I still love you, Nashville, you've really grown up in the last decade!
