::: Tony’s trainers :::

I am not sure how to best start with this one, but it’s surely a tribute to our good friend Tony (who sadly passed away in April). His collection was up through a charity sale last weekend by wonderful people. And this one hit hard another time, you’ll forever be missed!! 🕊️
All I can say now is that I am thankful the people around him let me carry some of his collection forward. I first met him in the early 2000s and he’d soon hit me up on my special interest trainers and yeah these are pretty much a testimony to his taste and light spleen for awesomely weird stuff. RIP @tonytoupet be sure your wild stuff is in good hands 🙏 ❤️

Mi ero ripromesso di indossare queste 993, sorelle di quelle bianche che trovate poco più in giù, in occasione di un evento speciale. Direi che oggi è il giorno giusto per inaugurarle.
Era dal 1999 che i Knicks non andavano in finale NBA. Stanotte, dopo 27 anni è successo che quelli vestiti di arancione e blu hanno vinto le finali della Eastern Conference strappando il biglietto per giocarsi il titolo che manca dal 1973.

Salehe Bembury X New Balance Made in USA 992 “Calm be the Crater” ⛰️ 🌲
Ciao amici, sono ancora vivo e non ho abbandonato il mondo delle scarpe. Semplicemente sono pigro e non pubblico da un po’.
Come dicevo nel post precedente, il 2026 per quel che mi riguarda è partito forte, con delle uscite che a fine anno verranno recuperate nelle varie classifiche e noi saremo qui a dire “Ah sì vero, ad inizio anno sono uscite pure quelle!”
E secondo me queste 992 hanno la seria possibilità di essere ripescate e di finire in classifica.
“Voglio fare un paio di New Balance che sanno di montagna, di lago, di bosco”. Ed ecco le Calm be the Crater. Crater come il Crater Lake che c’è in Oregon. Questo perché Salehe Bembury è un fenomeno nel rendere concreto il mood che vuole trasmettere. Fenomeno vero, mi sa che se lo trovo in saldo comprerò il suo libro per studiarmelo meglio.
Salehe per favore fai delle scarpe a tema New York Knicks, ne sento il bisogno!

It would take immense effort for a company that was established back in 1906 to maintain their relevance within the footwear industry and still become one of the global players.

With innovation at its' core, they're able to serve performance and lifestyle footwear needs in their unique way, including the penultimate performance running shoe of late 2000s that is named after the founding year too, @newbalancelifestyle 1906.

While many saw these as a lifestyle footwear due to its' recent bringback, they were what New Balance could possibly offer in a road running shoe.

Understanding the objective here, the renowned retailer from Japan, @atmos_id delivered a very interesting premise here, which is Inversion. They're flipping the original colors of the 1906 to their counterparts on the opposite side of the color wheel. The design concept highlights the contrast between light and shadow.

If the original model's white and gold symbolized morning or sun, this release's black and silver evokes their opposites: night and moon. It expresses the beautiful balance of opposing elements like “sun and moon” or “day and night” through its colorway.

True to its Blue Moon name, it is a pair embodying a rare, miraculous occurrence. And they're readily available at Atmos Indonesia right now, with several sizes already selling out, get down to it fam!

N.B : mispelled the PF-1 last, should be PL-1 (performance last, an update to the SL-1 that was developed through tests in various countries in North America, Asia, and Europe)
