It took the Rockers a little while to get going, but the girls stayed focused and responded with a 4-run 4th inning that changed the game en route to a 7-3 victory over Lady Xtreme West. Kenzie Welsh (Prairie State) and Kamryn Castillo (North Central) each drove in two runs. Ariel Huerta (Olivet) went 2-for-2. Adleigh Cunningham (‘28) put together a strong all-around performance, earning the win in the circle while also contributing a hit and stolen base offensively.
Your Rockers are back at it again at 8 AM. 🖤💛

Downers Grove Outlaws made us earn it, but the Rockers responded every time. After falling behind, the girls battled back, strung together some big hits, and found a way to get the job done, 6-4. A huge day in the circle from Haley Tracy with 11 strikeouts. At the plate, Joscelyn Monner collected two hits, while Kamryn Castillo drove in two runs. Big doubles from Bella Pratscher and Kylee Cunningham helped fuel the go-ahead rally in the 5th inning. An awesome comeback! 🖤💛

Game 2: Rockers 18U battled back against Central Illinois Force 18U to earn a hard-fought 7-7 tie. After falling behind early, the offense exploded for 6 runs in the 3rd inning, sparked by RBI singles from Ariel Huerta, Kamryn Castillo, Kylee Cunningham, and Haley Tracy, along with a bases-loaded walk by Bella Pratscher. Ariel Huerta led the offense, going 2-for-2 with 2 RBIs, while Haley Tracy added 2 hits of her own. Proud of the way this team fought back and never quit. 🖤💛

Saturday couldn’t have been a better day for an @ncc_softball game! We also had the chance to celebrate our graduating seniors and everything they’ve accomplished—an especially meaningful moment. I always love spending time at Shanower Family Softball Field, cheering on our Cardinals!

Two signings, one incredible day! First signing of the day -Kam Castillo! She’s officially signed with North Central College to continue her softball career, and this moment is so well deserved. Her commitment and love for the game have truly paid off. North Central is gaining a driven athlete and a strong leader, and there’s no doubt she’ll make an impact both on and off the field. Excited to watch her take this next step and shine at the collegiate level! Congratulations Kam! 🖤💛
