I’m excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and basketball career at North Central College!

First, all glory to God for making this possible and putting so many great people in my life. I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep playing the sport I love while growing in my faith.

Thank you to my parents for all the sacrifices, support, and everything you’ve done to help me get here. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you to Coach Josh Adams, Coach Kevin, Coach Jordan Adams, and Coach Cyril for all your help and support along the way.

Lastly, thank you to Coach Kmiec, Coach Sorenson, and the North Central coaching staff for this opportunity.

All glory to God! Go Cards #gocards

THE CCIW IS LOADED.

A new favorite, a defending champion, and plenty of teams looking to make some noise.

Elmhurst enters 2026–27 atop the preseason coaches' poll, but Illinois Wesleyan isn't going anywhere quietly. The Titans are looking to defend their crown despite losing reigning CCIW Player of the Year Noah Cleveland to Division I Illinois State.

Meanwhile, Wheaton and Carthage have their sights set on making a run of their own.

Nine teams. One conference title.

WHO'S YOUR PICK TO WIN THE CCIW?

Yesterday’s pizza night at the President’s House was a slam dunk! 🏀

My family and I had a wonderful time welcoming both @ncccardsmbb and @nccwbball to our home. It was a pleasure spending time together and getting to know these two outstanding Cardinal teams better. As a bonus, we celebrated women’s Head Coach Maggie Bax’s birthday and sang happy birthday to her! Thank you for joining us — we enjoyed having you!

Polaroids 1/2/26-2/4/26. I learned something very important when it comes to Polaroid chemistry and temperature— they aren’t kidding. You will see that the outdoor shots taken when it was below 45, 25, or even 10 degrees, they develop funny. They take on a blue hue, to the point of being unrecognizable. To solve this, I used hand warmers in an insulated bag for developing the film. But in those extreme conditions, that was a half solution as part of the shot was just right , some were cold: Some shots even had hotspots! That’s how you get these almost school watercolor-esque effect with blues and purples.

Huge congratulations to Blake Evans on his commitment to North Central College 💯

Blake trusted Real Hoops Recruitment to guide him through the process with REAL knowledge and REAL expertise. We are proud of his journey and excited to watch him thrive at the next level. Lefty shot maker with deep range, downhill creator, and a two way guard who brings length, pressure, and playmaking feel.

“Blake is a winning guard because he can shoot it with deep range, create off the bounce, and still make the simple play that gets teammates great looks.”
