3 Days Away…

OUR SILENCE WILL NOT BE THE PRICE OF OUR SURVIVAL.

We refuse to accept a world where survivors are left to carry the weight of institutional inaction, where women must fight to be heard, and where our safety is treated as negotiable.

This sit-in is a demand for survivor-centered support, stronger prevention, safer campuses, accessible Title IX dialogue, and institutional accountability.

As Black women, we understand that liberation requires more than the right to speak—it requires a world that respects our voices, protects our dignity, and takes our safety seriously.

We have attempted to establish dialogue with college administrations. We remain open to meaningful engagement, but promises without action are not justice.

We stand in solidarity with survivors, including those who cannot safely share their stories. No one owes the world their trauma to deserve protection.

We are not asking for permission to demand better. We are organizing because we deserve better.

✊🏾 Our safety is nonnegotiable. Our liberation is collective. Our demands will be heard.

🚨 AUC, IT’S TIME TO TAKE A STAND. 🚨

Violence against women is not just an individual issue — it’s a community issue. Sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, harassment, and gender-based violence cannot continue to be ignored, excused, or normalized.

On October 15th at 7 PM, we’re gathering at the AUC Robert Woodruff Library for a SIT-IN TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN. 🩷✊🏾

We stand in solidarity with survivors. We demand accountability. We call for action, safer spaces, and a community that refuses to remain silent.

This is more than a sit-in. It’s a statement. It’s a call to action. It’s a reminder that our voices, our safety, and our lives matter.
