BEST WINTER EVER AT HIWS 2023 KOREA🇰🇷💙

spent my last days of 2023 & first days of 2024 in korea🥹❤️of course, going to a foreign country alone was a challenge & even more so studying abroad, but im glad i chose korea🇰🇷(my very first winter too!❄️)

it has been YEARS since i travelled overseas/went to korea/overseas without my parents but this was definitely a trip i WON’T ever regret or forget🥰🥰it has always been one of my dreams to experience studying abroad in korea & glad to have ticked that off my checklist!✅

im rly glad i chose to spend my winter at hanyang university🦁💙i made lots of precious memories & close friends during this long but short 3 weeks aka 20 days🥹🥹it’s honestly so cool n surreal meeting ppl from all over the world (still 80% sgreans tho haha) n experience living independently in korea surrounded by korean ads everywhere & communicating in korean with locals🇰🇷🤩

from my daily dose of compose coffee n 7-11 meals while watching my demon everyday w roomie☕️🍱📺 to using my best friend papago to translate everyth😘 to dancing jennie’s you & me n le sserafim’s eve, psyche & bluebeard’s wife every morning to prep for our performance on grad ceremony💃 to attending world kpop festival countdown on new year’s for free after all the kpop acts were over (IDK N I CLDVE SEEN CHUNGHA FOR FREE😀😤) to taking the last train TWICE🚈 to walking 10k steps everyday🚶🏻‍♀️ to going on a free ski trip w the school⛷️ to going to THE 1MILLION dance studio for the 1st time (attended hyeyeon’s learner tutting class)💃 to $1 ice skating at seoul plaza⛸️ to going to hongdae for the nth time🛍️ to my first ever snow in korea🌨️⛄️ and to making our klook driver wait for 1hr cos we hvn’t thrown out our garbage🗑️🤡and MORE!

im super thankful for each & every one of u i met, incl. hanyang global lions, classmates, fellow kpop dancers, prof hong from international marketing & content creation class, and dance instructors ari & puff for being there for us all the way up to d-day of performance😭🫶🏻i experienced a lot of my first times here in korea & will def miss my time w everyone😢🥰사랑해❤️‍🔥

time to head back to korea for summer/winter school again?😉
